If we are going to rank it based on the finished product, I'd have him at 2 until he knocks off Dabo. This will require 2 more top 10 classes.

There aren't 6 guys on that list with NY6 Bowl wins and Conference Championships, but on the other hand it's hard to say you're a better coach than Dave Clawson and Dave Doeren and Pat Narduzzi when you have a 67-67 career record. Doeren is 98-58, the Nard Dog is 62-41, and Clawson is 149-133.

I think it’s fair but the Norvell rating sucks. He was cheeks until last year and after this year I think he will be terrible. He better win big this year because if he doesn’t their recruiting class will fall apart and next year as noted they will be bad.

Based on one season Inday? Idk about that. Should be about the entire resume…if Mario flops the next 2 years then I’m 1000% on board but you have to give some grace to an incoming coach in Year 1

This is where I come down. For me, last year mitigates some of the heights Mario accomplished. It gave him a new floor, and when compared to the three most consistent guys in the conference not named Dabo over the last 5 years, I put him lower.

The guy I think is overrated though is Brown. Guy gets how important a QB is, but his teams underperform annually.

Coaching rankings, for me, are completely what have you done for me lately. Five year window max. Last year was categorically the worst year for Miami since the 70s. I can’t overlook that, especially when compared to more consistent performers.

At best, he's 3rd if it's career and I think that's a stretch. Dabo and Mack have won NC's.

His credibility took a major hit with his horrible hires last season. Has to demonstrate that he can make smarter decisions so this is a huge season for Mario and he knows it.
