One of the benefits of being one of the last to upgrade.. we get to get an idea of what the best have.. and try and out do.

Interesting things to note.

1. One of the pictures still shows the Towers. Funny.

2. On a related note, the same thing is true in relation to not showing IPF expansion, movement of Cobb, and relocation of some GreenTree fields.

3. What these pictures indicate is that, pretty much the entire parking lot of the Wellness Center will be taken up. The "new Hecht" will take the portion of the Wellness Center parking behind the IPF, and the "new ****inson parking" will take up a lot of the space in front of the Wellness Center. Which is "not great" for aesthetics, but is probably unavoidable once the new dorms are constructed, as there was NEVER a good parking solution for The Towers.

4. What is even more fascinating to me is...technically this leaves "old Hecht" intact. Which is weird, but potentially allows for stuff to be done THERE at a later date. So as the football kids like to Tweet...we aren't done yet.

5. Interestingly, this takes the whole "we're going to work in modular buildings" thing off the table. New Hecht is going up in a parking lot. Old Hecht remains operational. DEFINITELY allows for faster construction. And a better domino effect for the other parts of the project not shown in the pix (IPF expansion, for one).

Looks interesting, but isn’t that where the on campus creek is running through?

Take a look at this picture. IPF is to the right. Canal is in the middle. New Hecht will go in the parking lot to the left.

Picture was taken ON the bridge that will be the dividing line between New Hecht and ****inson Parking buildings.

I like the idea of upgrades but I am more in favor of an atmosphere that Mr T used in his training for Rocky Balboa. We need toughness not lazy boy chairs.

The parking solution for the Towers was to not let freshman drive cars (at least during my time)

That **** doesn't work with this generation. In 5-10 years, these players will have "wipers" à la Prince Akeem from Zamunda
