Ok what would our won/loss record be without mannys defense.Diaz defense did improve every year from the prior year.and he wasn't afraid to make adjustments during a game.each year a team has to show improvements from the year before.defense did that while the offense didn't.we need diazs mental attitude for the whole team.howard,jj and butch had same mentality that's why I say Diaz is the exactly what Miami needs.

They did the same thing when they fired Clappy and hired Randy. Identical scenarios and records but let’s expect a different result by hiring assistants off the same incompetent staff smh. As a result we can expect the same result for the next 20 years with this total **** show in The Gables...

Lets just keep an eye on Diaz and bring him up the next head coach hire. Treat him like an over seas player since Miami is obviously his #1 choice. Guy needs some head coach experience and a fresh start with the players.

Diaz did improve his defense but if you think his D cant hang with top tier offenses you are blind. We had Onofrio and his D so anything looked better. And Diaz is not a recruiter plain and simple. He had this supposedly elite defense but yet kids didnt want to come play here or is it they saw what it really was. Shut down the FIU Savannah State school but couldnt stop BC, GT, LSU, Wisconsin with a lacrosse player as QB

Exactly that is why I dont want Diaz. He would keep most of the staff( defense) Diaz is not a recruiter either
 
Manny has a helluva career ahead of him, but it's not his time at the U.

The program needs a full overhaul. You need an outsider who has been in the head seat before.

Maybe a bigger seat than his previous, but not a first timer.

In those loses what or how good was our offense.hard to hold up when your offense consistently goes 3 and out.how many times did our offense turn the ball over on Miami's side of the fifty.
