Just food for thought. It must be quite difficult if you have some (usually successful) game plan and style strategy, but find that the uninjured talent lacks the skills and training and discipline and dedication to perform or execute (that) as needed. Do you back off and then tailor a drastically revised scheme and regimen to meet what the current active roster can do best, or stick with it until either the roster improves, with new outlook OR new folks, even as fans and critics cry fowl?I am starting to think that Mario was an D- hire. He seems to be a one-trick pony and making decisions on gameday or any other time is difficult for him.
Not sure sticking to Plan A is so bad, as long as he (and NIL) can recruit or otherwise get the pieces needed to make the puzzle fit. And fairly soon! Certainly, thats what Deon seems to be doing at Colorado (but their QB did quit today).
