Ppl want Lashlees passing concepts and playing in space. Nobody is pound the table for his run game. You and many others keep missing the point when Lashlee is referenced. I haven’t seen anyone say they miss the old lash playbook as whole
Imo they are intentionally ignoring that. Everyone wants to just put the other side in a box, us vs them, mope vs slurper. Everything goes from 0-60 in hyper spread tempo sorta way. It’s just microcosm of society these days. Sucks because there could be some good back and forth as there are a lot of smart people who watch a lot of football.

Lol our offense and defense is so bad that Middle Tennessee has us so rattled we weren't able to come back and find our rhythm. Jesus Christ

Technically, what he's saying is not wrong. There were plays we clearly didn't execute. We looked shell-shocked early on. And three turnovers in the first three possessions (including a pick 6) destroyed any chance of getting into an early rhythm. But it is incomplete. My questions in response would be: 1) why aren't they executing, 2) are they executing these plays in practice, 3) if they aren't, why are you still running them in games, and 4) what, if anything, did you do/change to help the offense get in rhythm?

It's no different than buying a used 2018 Honda Accord just outside the warranty period, but then buying the cheaper extended warranty with the commercial use exclusion when you know you're on the Uber hustle every weekend to support your Tootsie's addiction. The extended warranty you have doesn't match your intended use. Either stop the Uber hustle, or get the correct extended warranty for your purposes... otherwise, when that Accord inevitably breaks down you're gonna have a hard time getting to Tootsies.

It's sad we have so many people believing you should just add more horsepower to a terribly designed car and pretend that's the best you can do. The horsepower in this case is human and you're gonna have a lot of trouble convincing them to come toil in futility at a place where they can't shine like they could in a real offensive system -- because there are a lot of other schools and coaches offering just that and recruits will get an earfull of it from them. Just because Mario's a good recruiter, doesn't mean it's some automatic guaranteed thing. We're not a plug-and-play top 5 power now. We still have a lot of building to do, which means we need to start winning and doing it in a way that's exciting and innovative, not boring and uninspiring.
