After richt was hired we would have a top 5 class. Feel like we def improved from golden, but things have come back to reality. The guy only has 6 weeks until signing day and the reality is not even nick Saban can pull of a top 5 class from where we were. Will be good class, but not great. Looking forward to what he can do with a full year.

We will finish in the top 15. In order to finish in the top 5 you have to have some 5* recruits and that's not happening this year for us. Mecole Hardman is not coming.

It's also "jumping the gun" to say it won't be a great class...

There's a lot of time left until signing day and players are often signed after signing day as well...

There are also JCs, transfers, etc...which can build a class up...

The Gata fire Muschump and hire Horse Tooth and immediately bring in a top class.

The Canes fire Alfredo and hire Richt and the excuses start flying. Bottom line is if he is as great a recruiter as many believe him to be, he should be able to pull a top ten class. It's not as if he was hired a couple of weeks before signing day and left without almost any recruits, like Folden was.
 
Where do you people come from? So no 5* have come out of the woodwork in the first week and you're ready to pack it in? Those guys make their decisions late, so lets wait until February to make our guesses. Or spend the next 2 months trying to harsh my mellow with your doom and gloom.
 
I'm guilty of this because I pay so little attention to rankings. I assumed guys like McCloud were properly rated.

Actually they finished at #21 . We already have a better class than Mac's first one.. dumbass
