Every 1 loss team in top 20 made CFP

The Big and SEC are all but guaranteed 4-5 bids. That leaves the G5 and Big12 winner likely getting in along with the ACCCG winner. A 2 loss UGA, Bama , Tenn, Oregon, Ole Miss, and ND are getting in over a 1 loss Miami.

They’ll argue us not making the ACCCG invalidates our schedule even though we only have the 1 loss.

ND with two losses one being to Miami is not getting in over a 2 loss Miam, **** prob not even over a 2 loss Miami because their schedule is worse then ours down the stretch

Style points, we’ll need them. Even if we win out.

our previous wins have lost their luster and will be scrutinized further if we squeak by the dregs of the remaining schedule. The cracks will be there. The ACC is trash. Oh look, Miami beat the vaunted Cardinal 24-20. NC State 36-31, etc etc.

As it stands now

Big - OSU, Indiana, Oregon
SEC - Bama, Ole Miss, A&M, UGA, Tenn, LSU
Big 12 - BYU or TT
ND
G5 team

ACC - GT, UVA, Louisville (all get in acccg over us)

Even if we win out, every sec team with 2 or less losses is getting in. Our only hope is if the sec is a complete train wreck and you have UGA, Tenn, and LsU with 3 losses. Even then we might squeak in as the 12th team with the ACC winner.

Nah they can’t cause we beat nd

There were actually quite a few teams with 2 losses? Didn’t Clemson have 3 losses before the quarterfinals?

A ND QB making his first start on the road.
A USF team that sold out to win the week prior.
A UF team missing key defensive players and will have fired their corch by end of year.
An FSU team that was an onside kick recovery away from having a chance to walk off a win.

We better win out and win big because all of our wins be picked over with a fine tooth comb. We lost the luxury of just saying we won these previous games. This is why how you win and what you look like doing it matters.
