Ever stop and think maybe...

He probably couldn't get Kingsbury, but guys like Briles and Yost would come if Richt would handle it right. But like others say, he would probably rather do it his way and fail than have someone come in and change it all and win big. So far, the evidence indicates he thinks critics don't know what they're talking about and that D'onofrio is perfectly qualified to..... .... Oh wait.... what year is it again?

It is! But fans failed to realize the bus just stopped. The school is happy, the administration is happy. The ACC money heals everything. We got a 4 million coach now is just a crusade until the end. There is no ambition or standard to follow.
Yea Ive accepted that its over and my team is just who they are and probably will always be this way. Its over and alot of fans dont realize it

Have we even stopped to think that maybe none of these names we keep pitching for OC want the job? Likely that AD/Richt haven't started the process but also possible that the exploratory inquires have bore zero fruit. Maybe these cats dont want to work under Richt. The big names at least. Dillingham is the only name mentioned I think is plausible so far. So many great names with great resumes thrown around but I don't think any of them are even an option.

If there's one thing I know, it's that nobody at CIS has ever stopped to think about anything.

Dan Mullen practically begged for the job twice.
I have feeling that if Mullen had got the job first time around, he would have used it as a springboard to another SEC job. So ... things might've worked out the same for him (altho maybe not at UF). Doubt he saw UM as a destination job. Schnelly didn't, nor did JJ or Erickson.

No one wants to be OC here for $1M plus per. Nah. No chance. Can’t get anyone to bite at that.

We couldn’t even steal a DC from an SEC team a couple years ago. No way we can lure some unemployed guy or some G5 OC to come here for double or triple his salary.

It's just a job. If UM is willing to pay 1 mil a year, you'd better believe there is interest in that OC spot.

We’ve never lost a HC to another college job. You guys sound like clowns with this poor mouthing nonsense.

It’s like beaten wives syndrome. A couple of left and right hooks after he gets caught cheating and the woman sits around wondering what she did wrong. Pathetic .

Nope, richt hasn’t made the job available yet and he’s not going to imo(doesn’t want to). When has he Fired someone?

When has he fired someone?? Doesn't matter because he'd actually be relieving HIMSELF of a duty vs. firing someone

we don't need long term coaches, we need hungry winners with ambition

Even if that is true, I would not trade those great years for any others school’s history. It will always be great to be a Miami Hurricane!
Im more mad they screwed it up this bad, its like being the yankees and becoming poor, it sucks being at the mountain top and then sliding down never to be able to climb it again. And theres nothing we can do because the people up top dont care
