Have we even stopped to think that maybe none of these names we keep pitching for OC want the job? Likely that AD/Richt haven't started the process but also possible that the exploratory inquires have bore zero fruit. Maybe these cats dont want to work under Richt. The big names at least. Dillingham is the only name mentioned I think is plausible so far. So many great names with great resumes thrown around but I don't think any of them are even an option.

Can anyone name one big name coach or coordinator that had serious interest in the last 15 years. Our only draw is our recruiting base. Our tradition has worked against our favor because the standard is so high and the support is so low or so quickly withdrawn. Our salaries and support staff are still subpar and our facilities are competitive but not elite.

All I know is FSU will be making Pos/OC changes after year one. And we had three years to see. Imagine if we had the UCF offensive coaching staff and just a healthy Milton at Qb. JT would have been eating we would have been seen what Cam and Lo could do at RB and we would have been playing Clemson for a spot in the playoffs

Dan Mullen practically begged for the job twice.

What do you mean maybe none?

Why would any confident OC want to come work for Richt?

HC who has stated he wants to call plays? Check.

Incumbent "Co-Offensive Coordinator"? Check.

QB Coach is HC's kid? Check.

Sign right here on the dotted line.

C'mon.

The only ones willing to come to this situation are the ones with no options. Exactly who isn't worth coming here other than to fill a slot and put more sand in the cogs.

Nope, richt hasn’t made the job available yet and he’s not going to imo(doesn’t want to). When has he ever Fired someone?

Richt is going to do everything in his power to stall and poison the search process, if he’s pushed to hire an OC.

That way he can say “see, I tried to hire s John Q Public, but he was either already snatched up or didn’t want the job....I have no choice but to stay on as OC, because we’re too late in the process and we must focus on recruiting!”

Willie Martinez was his last firing at Georgia and it took 4 years of terrible defenses for that to happen.

I think all these threads are an exercise in futility. Guessing in hypotheticals that may never play out or may be years away from happening seems pointless. If change comes and new faces appear then we analyze.

James and the power brokers better have learned from golden sticking with trash staff members and not changing things that should have(donofrio defense scheme).it’s **** near the same thing we have here now just on opposite side of the ball. it’s just worse when you consider how stacked that side of the ball was coming into the season and we have a bottom offense in the country. You would think they have learned from that situation but we will see these next few weeks...

Brock, I love you and I love your penchant for well done steaks but I can never get through these run on paragraphs.

Periods are your friend.
