Evan Shirreffs QB

Just watch his film before you judge, not bad at all for a plan D QB this late in the game.

A true pocket passer with some mobility at 6'6 200 who is smart with the football(only 6 picks the last 2 years[2 last year in 6 games b/c he got injured and 4 this year])

I was about to talk **** until I saw the tape.

Not a bad option to take to sandwich between Kaaya and Allison IMO.

Look like his brother Bryant Sherriffs had a similar recruitment-- headed to the Ivy League until an ACC team (NC State) scooped him up.

Sherriffs played as a freshman at NC State but transferred to UConn because of Jacoby Brissett. What's interesting is that the brother was a running QB who played mostly in the Wildcat formation. Evan Sherriffs shows some decent athleticism in his clips, and he may have athletic upside as he grows into his 6'6 frame.

Thanks. That article helps explain why he went under the radar. Sat behind his D-1 brother until junior year, got hurt after four games, grew two inches, emerged as a senior but at a small school.

6'6, productive, first in his high school class and a plus arm. I'll say this-- he's better than Daniel Stegall.

Next Ryan Williams?

This guy is a taller more athletic Ken Dorsey. Better scoop him up before Northeast Texas Middle State offers.

Well with decommitments and uncommitted prospects that are getting late offers tell Miami to stick those offers where the sun doesn't shine; I am thinking QB Evan Shirreffs is going to get that committable offer sometime today. Miami could use some good news.

Go Canes

I've heard Tulane is looking at him as well. Not sure if they will offer, but that's another D-I school.
