Miami will take a step back this year. The Hurricanes go into the season with question marks at quarterback and continued questions on defense. Couple that with a difficult schedule -- featuring perhaps the most difficult crossover games in the ACC against Florida State, Louisville – and it will be tough for the Canes to match their nine-win total from last season.
I really dont think we can take a step back from what we saw last year. we have a healthier and hungrier team then last year. we were trying to find an identity last year and this year i think we know what we want.
you live in a fantasy world. we will take a step back this year, and thats scary considering we were AWFUL down the stretch last year.
the defense is completely broken and exposed. once they start giving up points in bunches and the pressure to score rides on teh back of a FR QB with no experience, it will get ugly
This is not the same team as last year. you people dont get it. all you think about is last year. this is a new team. we are way better this year. we are not returning garbage. if we are living off last year. then how is UNC who went 7-6 last year. yes freaking 7-6 ranked #15 in the pre-season top 25. you guys are not even looking at the whole picture. Our Qb situation is not as bad as you think it is. calm down dammit
Because they finished the season 6-1, not 2-4. That's not me being doom and gloom and negative, but perception is reality and they finished really strong and we didn't. The endings to both of our seasons are the last things people remember, including voters.
