I lost 3 cousins trying to catch fish while free diving off of the coast of Cuba so they could try and feed their starving and enslaved families. In Cuba everything belongs to the government, so fishing is also illegal. They were all expert swimmers and still drowned when caught in strong currents.

That’s some freedom they have there. Can’t even go into the tourist part of Cuba unless they work there. Many of our women have had to prostitute themselves to feed their families with the dollars that they make from tourists. A doctor earns $10 a month in Cuba, you ****** scoundrel.

I saw the terrible plight of Cubans who came over in the late 50's and '60's. No way they were on the CIA payroll. Former professionals and Cuban military officers were washing dishes in hotel kitchens on Miami Beach.

Facts. I know this firsthand from people who employed many. Most Cuban people had tough circumstances and worked hard.

It’s pretty certain we all have poverty and misfortune in our ancestry if you go back far enough. Just making it here makes most people amongst the most fortunate folks in the world. Manny’s story at least is personal to his father, though given his father’s accomplishments it puts context around Manny’s. But going back 150+ years doesn’t tell us much about someone’s personal accomplishments.

Absolutely. Manny’s father can be counted as a success story. So can his grandparents story. Manny’s success story is still in the making. Yeah, he was a good DC. There are many successful HS coaches of immigrant parents that are **** good, accomplished. Manny needs a successful track as a HC, before we can start giving accolades. As much as I don’t think he’s done much beyond DC, I admit, if he turns this gig into a winning horse, I’ll be the first one applaud his accomplishments. Capitalism is not the problem, is the intervention by foreign governments imposing on others dictatorships that a answer to foreign interests instead of local ones.

How many democratically elected governments the US and the CIA have overthrown in Latin America alone because they didn't cater to their corporations and economy interests.

Most Latin America countries are weak so is easy to control them and its people.

Yet the same US government that criticize Cuba and Venezuela and other governments dont say **** about China where many US companies are doing business.

But China is a big and military strong country so is ok to do business with them.
But Cuba a small Island in the Caribbean has had to endure an embargo of over 60 years.
