The two usually go hand in hand.Ehh gotta win too, that is more important. This place has wasted hella talent over the years, putting kids in the league is cool but Miami needs to win again.
I gotta tell ya this place and the lack of any gray area thinking is wildThe Bain disrespect here is really something. He was obviously not near 100% last year but still disruptive. There's no reason think back healthy he won't produce like his freshman year and likely better.
It goes beyond questioning some way too early ESPN ranking. A lot of talk lately about him being a "bust." Which is ludicrous.I gotta tell ya this place and the lack of any gray area thinking is wild
We haven’t had a DL in the Top 10 in 35 years. A pure DE what since the 70s?
You can like Bain and think mocking him at #7 after an injury plagued season is crazy without it being “disrespect”
There’s people here that say ridiculous things because they’re trolling or stupid. It goes beyond questioning some way too early ESPN ranking. A lot of talk lately about him being a "bust." Which is ludicrous.
Tbh I’d be more surprised if he was a first round pick in the 2026 draft than if he returned for his senior yearIf Bain is a first round pick than that means this season went a lot better than I anticipated.
Well we CAN be better then last yr with Beck at QB but it won’t be because he’s a Superior QB to Cam WardThere’s people here that say ridiculous things because they’re trolling or stupid.
Theres people that say we will be better with Beck over the guy that was so unanimously the best player in the draft they didn’t even talk about him
Not much you can do with that
Agreed. I’m talking specifically about the people that have said we will be a better offense because Beck doesn’t play hero ball and will “keep us on time”Well we CAN be better then last yr with Beck at QB but it won’t be because he’s a Superior QB to Cam Ward
I think Mel kiper has completely lost touch of what his job requires. I don't put too much stock in anything he says anymore![]()
Projecting the 2026 NFL draft, one year out: Miller's early predictions for every Round 1 pick
What might the Browns and Rams do with their multiple first-rounders? How many QBs could go on Day 1? Here's Matt Miller's early look at the 2026 draft.www.espn.com
He's more than likely going top 5 if he simply shows progression again & stays healthy. From year 1 to last year was markedly improved. Shows that again this year and you combine it as you pointed out with what he's gonna test out like at combine sky is the limit. Kids a freak athlete to be his size.Man y'all writing off Francis too easily. He's 100% going top 15, likely top 10. A 3 year starter at RT who has improved dramatically each year. Don't forget he's a special athlete and can do rare things physically that only the top guys can do. He'll get comparisons to Penei Sewell all draft cycle which Mario will sell as well. My guess is he ends up going top 5 when it's all said and done.
Bain however, is more likely to go round 2 than top 10 imo. Having Bain at 7 is kind of crazy, you don't go top 10, unless you are a freak athlete or have size. He has neither. I love Bain and hope he can stay healthy but he's kind of a tweener in the NFL.
Great to see Canes getting love though! Big year for these guys.
agree, think Proctor from Bama an LT will go ahead Francis but Bain needs to stay healthy and have a big year.....Don’t see either going that high. Especially not Bain but let’s hope.
Bain will need to take it to another level this year to be picked in the 1st
Good post. I do think Bain can easily be a late round 1 guy if he returns to freshman form and has a uptick in production.Man y'all writing off Francis too easily. He's 100% going top 15, likely top 10. A 3 year starter at RT who has improved dramatically each year. This is Matt miller, not kiper. It’s all for clicks this far out from next April.I think Mel kiper has completely lost touch of what his job requires. I don't put too much stock in anything he says anymore
I’m old enough to remember ESPiN having Zion Nelson with a first round grade.
Ah. Don't know him off the top of my head. Everyone and there mother seems to have a platform for their opinions. 9 out of 10 of them don't amuse me. If it wasn't posted on here I never would've seen it.This is Matt miller, not kiper. It’s all for clicks this far out from next April.
Where’s the disrespect???The Bain disrespect here is really something. He was obviously not near 100% last year but still disruptive. There's no reason think back healthy he won't produce like his freshman year and likely better.
Can you please point that out? I’m not saying no one has said that, there are plenty of morons on this board. It goes beyond questioning some way too early ESPN ranking. A lot of talk lately about him being a "bust." Which is ludicrous.
Proctor has great size but his feet were god awful in pass sets last year idk maybe another over hyped bama tackleagree, think Proctor from Bama an LT will go ahead Francis but Bain needs to stay healthy and have a big year.....
