Them saying our entire secondary is gone immediately ruins any credibility to this article. Considering corn, jenkins, and carter have all played tons of minutes for us.

All of them started last year too, those guys are amateurs lol

Why do we have to catch Clemson to make the ACC title game? They're not in our division and we don't play them.

Saying da bozos Miami have on da O-line gonna be vastly improved cause the earth will have completed another revolution around da sun since the *** kicking they took last season ain't right. Can't make chicken salad outa chicken sh*t. It will be a vast improvement IMO if they just refrain from having their pictures taken in hoemoesexually suggestive poses.

Haven't you seen the bozo's on here recently talking about the monumental task of getting there because Miami has to play FSU every year, and well, that's just not fair. They always forget to mention how Miami sits squarely in the worst division of any conference in the Power 5. Not to mention, these are the same tough guys who said it was a must that Miami kept it's yearly matchup with FSU after leaving the BE for the ACC. Now they are crying about it because fans don't realize how dumb it is to put additional road blocks in front of you every year when you are competing for titles.

Did anyone else read the thread title and immediately think, "Oh, what the fvck now?"

Also, I'm pretty sure someone already posted this.

Stopped reading as soon as I realized it was written by Andrea Adelson.

It comes off as sexist, but the two young women they've had running the ACC blog for the last 7-8 years have been abysmal. They wish everyone was FSU, the ACC was the SEC, etc. Their analysis is skin deep and uninspiring.

She said all the starters are gone which is true. Burns, bush, howard, and Crawford were starters and they are gone.

Spot on. Let me counter your first sentence though. It'd actually be sexist of us to NOT call them out for their atrocious coverage and opinions. Problem is that this conference (in football at least) has been subject to too many "journalists" with SEC roots or that are too feeble minded to do their jobs without always falling into lazy national media type group think and narratives.

I agree. It would be sexist for us to give them a free pass for their ****** journalism JUST BECAUSE they are females.

The Dinich-Adelson combo has been absolutely terrible for the past 5+ years.

GIVE US A REAL JOURNO, ESPN!!!

Corn Elder didn't start for us last year?

maybe they meant anyone who is any good, other than corn. Cause Carter and Jenkins aren't lighting the world on fire.

Howard had more starts.

But, yes ... Corn also had some starts.

I'm the last guy to say anything sexist, but those two dopey ***** have small feet specifically so they can stand closer to the kitchen sink and stove. Their football acumen makes Erik Marrero look like an amalgamation of Ron Jaworski and Mike Mayock.

Division wise, you are correct. With GT tanking it last year, I believe Miami has the best Coastal record of all the Coastal teams in the last 5 or so years with nothing to show for it.
On a national level though, given the division, we need FSU on the schedule on a yearly basis.

"Though the entire secondary will be new, the strength should be with the returning players up front, whose time has come to finally start making an impact."

This was her original statement. If she watched any of the games last yr and/or knew football she would know that Dallas Crawford was abysmal to say the least and she would know that Corn is better than Tracy. We are talking about two guys that are going undrafted, bush projected anywhere between rounds 4-6 and then a 1st/2nd rounder. Jenkins, Johnson, and Carter are better than Crawford, and Corn is better than Tracy. So she could have said losing Artie is going to hurt and they need to find a replacement, that would be 100% accurate. But to say our entire secondary is new and portray it as we have zero experience back there is bad analysis to say the least. Our biggest weakness going into the season is clearly Offensive line. It was abysmal last year, and our hope now is that with a new OL coach, New OC, and a year older that these guys get better.
