The Steelers never have lockdown Corners, their scheme makes it difficult for any cover guys to excel in that system. He def could use a scene change & to play in a Defense that better suits his ability.

But regardless of how it works out he'll get another shot on another team, teams are always looking for Corners especially now that the league is such a pass heavy game, CB's are in high demand & he's still young.

He’ll 100% have a job for a while. He has tools to work with & like you said he’s still young & CB is at such a premium.
 
Ereck should do much better at guard. Talent was never an issue, it is more of an issue between the ears. Tackle is a lonely world much like CB. He should be able to use his strength at guard. Kid always had grown man strength. If he can gain some confidence I would not be surprised to see him finally shine in the league.
