I see Giants fans are calling him a Bust...

Is that really the case for those that have seen him play ?

I've seen analysts raving about him this year. He's in year 2, still learning technique. He'll be one of the better LT in the league in a few years. Apparently he's struggling with hand placement, not a huge deal but all the other tools are there

Starting LT for a 7-3 team.

How is that a bust?

Canes are not NFL busts. 54 Canes on active rosters, plenty of examples to prove my point.

He has had some good games and some bad ones, he is a beast and the Giants believe in him as they claim it is technique and he is so young. He has chance to be a good one or a........

Has trouble with the bull rush. He is a great run blocker on the move. He is far from a bust.

Guy was extremely raw coming out of school...he does an average job and improved his play from last year. He's only going to get better

He's getting a lot better and is already a physical monster. The problem is that he was a raw 20-year-old thrust into a high profile position in a brutal media market. His bad first impression still hurts his perception.

My Giants fan friends aren't that happy with him considering he was a top 10 pick. They aren't giving up on him yet, but they are worried he will be average at best. Not what you want from a top 10 guy. A few of them are UM alumns so they aren't eager to hate on the guy.

Still think he is a right tackle being forced to play on the left side

That's been the consensus amongst Giants fans. The high draft pick is worth it if he can stick around the league for a decade (which I think he is built to do). Potential to be a part of a nasty OL, but won't necessarily be the anchor

Put him on the trade block & watch at least 20-25 teams offer a 1st rounder for him...

He ain't a bust in the slightest... Raw & still developing, but bust? Nahhhh not even close.

Trust me, GM's would love to have him, especially with how awful OL play has been throughout the season all over the league.

As a Giants fan, I think it's foolish to consider him a bust. Young man is still learning technique, as mentioned above, and was forced to LT when Beatty was hurt last year. I agree he'd be better at RT. He has also cut down on his holds but that early impression remains. I love his attitude, and mean streak. He will be fine.

The guy came out too early but fans felt justified because of the draft spot. A great combine guy does not mean ready made starter. And every team feels compelled to start him so fans again feel justified in the draft spot. But now teams have film on him and the guy is trying to block for a statue. This should be his rookie year and he needs to get his body into a 16 game season shape.
If the guy is picked this year at #23 I am sure Giants fans see a better future for him.

When he turns it around the fans will love him, New York is a tough place to play as a first round draft choice.
