Ensworth on ESPNU

"The thing about him was, he’s got a bad foot," Ensworth coach Ricky Bowers told the Tennessean about Ferby. "He was hurt, but he decided he was going to go anyway. He hasn’t had to do that before, but he’s a senior."

Because he backed up the states best RB (Elder) for the last three years. Pretty sure his offer list will grow a ton after this season.

Yeah, but with his size and speed you'd think UT or Vandy at least would watch the kid a at a practice. I knew about Elder of course but I thought he would at least play a little bit and show out in the past 3 years

Yeah, but no offer. UM offered Jackson after 1 scrimmage, so something just seems off because off of his size alone if I was UT or Vandy i'd get that man at a camp to get a review on him. Plus that schools is so **** good how do you not have scouts there constantly to see him? Just weird to me but I wouldn't mind offering him too

I do believe he was hurt last season, while backing up Elder.

Whether his offer list was impressive or not, he balled last night against the number two team in the nation. He will get some offers.
 
Know I'm gonna get killed for this, but his running style was John Riggins-esque.

As i mentioned UM has been evaluating this kid for 2 years now, so I am thinking they wanted to see how he will perform as a full time starter. I think UM was evaluating him as a LB for defense but he is powerful runner (very raw) that will most likely need a red-shirt year to adjust to the college game. He can run over high school kids but FBS players will be a different story not to mention last night he had Gigantic holes to run through, I like that he fought through his conditioning problems playing both ways.

Funny thing is apparently UT fans are bashing this kid on Volnations per his responses to him on Twitter. Also apparently Tennessee Titan Players where also tweeting the young man about his game last night. An I like that he stayed humble an shouted his entire Oline.

I also think when D'Andre Ferby & has family re-watch and the game and hear all the UM references along with his boy Corn Elder in his ear about UM I think it could help UM take the inside track for this kid if UM does pick up recruiting interest in him; provided he has his academics in order.

That was a great win against Trinity there have been some upsets to start the HS football season.

Ensworth (TN) beating No.2 Trinity (KY) was an upset.
Good Counsel (MD) lost to Gillman (MD) If anyone knows about Good Counsel, they are a perrenial powerhouse so it's weird to see them lose to a team like Gillman.

No. 22 Northwestern (SC) routed Gaffney (SC) 51-19 was amazing. Gaffney is a great team in SC so it shocked me to see them take a bad L.

Brynes is letting Apopka have it right now...
