Enos presser

Yes, he knows more. His job is to use that knowledge to produce an efficient offense that puts up points with the talent he has. His knowledge should tell him what worked at Bama isn’t going to work at Miami. Adapt to your personnel. Knowledge is useless if you cannot apply it
Yeah just supposed to make some **** up lol...What offensive of system have you seen work with a oline this bad...I’ll wait

Everybody saying he threw players under the bus, thinks he's smarter than you, know it all coach, or whatever is just saying things to say things. None of what is being said came out in that interview. he doesn't throw players under the bus, He doesn't come off as a know it all. He's answering questions honestly.

Most people with anything to say is just mad he's not running the scheme they want him to run. Because he isn't in the shotgun throwing the ball around or whatever like people think he should be doing he's a corch.

He's clearly ****ed. He spoke of making basic plays, which to me says he doesn't trust our guys beyond the basics.

As much as Jarren protects the ball, he continues to be a count slow in execution and needs to trust what he sees.
I think Enos feels limited when you consider the OL issues with the general lack of cohesiveness and focus.
I'll look forward to seeing any adjustments he makes.

Totally agree that he needs to do a better job of using what he's got and what's working as opposed to what he wants to have and wants to work. That said, it's a stretch to say much negative about this. Was anything he said not true? Did everybody on the field execute what they were asked to do? Did some guys get beat one on one by inferior opponents? Or do you guys just need him to crucify himself for every issue we've got? Cause it really seems like everybody's just out for blood.

That’s the lazy conclusion/answer

I’ve been pretty surprised by the lack of flexibility and creativity to manufacture points and yards. If your offense is predicated on having an Alabama OL, then I bet Jon Richt could put up some points too.

The fact of the matter is, I have yet to see any prolonged innovation from Enos that maximizes the talent we have on offense. Yes I know our OL isn’t great, but at the same time, show me which team on the remainder of our schedule has a better one?

FSU found a way to gameplan around their dogsh!t OL

If our OL is truly THAT bad, scheme around it then. I haven’t seen it

Quite possibly everyone except FIU

I dont think anyone disagrees with Enos's statements. However this is the same story as other failed coordinators, too stubborn to adapt to the talent we have.

We have athletes both on the line and at the skill positions. The linemen are not gonna out-muscle any dline, but they seem athletic enough to stretch a defense (no way that all the talent we have brought are just busts) and in the skill positions, very few can keep up with what we have.

Our two best lineman (Donaldson and Scaife) are two big guys whose best part of their game is out-muscling the dline, they're not the type to out-athlete of finesse anyone. Did you see the traps Enos put in for Donaldson to help out Nelson. He was late on almost all of them. Meanwhile the athletic lineman are still too small, too young and undeveloped still. They're thinking too much and late out of their stances. And when they send Brevin in to chip, they're taking him out of the pattern.

You can't game plan for a line this overmatched.

Including Zion who brings the aggregate average ranking down, show me who on our remaining schedule has a better OL, from a talent perspective

I have been reading CIS for years and decided to add my opinion to the mix today because I felt maybe folks were being a bit too pessimistic about Enos but this was downright well disconcerting. He doesn't want to throw the ball down the field until the right time the right game. His receiver corp is made up of a few guys who can outright run. Why doesn't he want to stretch the field? Isnt the point of offense to score? Or does the U have to score a certain way? This has the feel of the same ole same ole!

The guy literally on the first question he tries to convince you that under center is better then shotgun/spread. Dude is clueless. There is a reason everyone is in the shotgun now.

We have yet again hired a stubborn "I'm the smartest guy in the room" guy coordinator again. First with Al Golden/No-D and then Richt as OC. Unbelievable.

I FULLY expect us to come continue to run the same dogsh*t we've been running.

We need to not waste time and fire Enos after the season. Manny better know he only has 3-4 years here. Don't end up like Shannon and waste 2 of your years as HC on a Patrick Nix.

Forget rankings. Your question was which team had a better line not which line was higher ranked. Ranking are only relevant when evaluating recruits.

Once they're on the team it's all about how well do they perform. There's not a team on our schedule whose line has performed worst than ours.

I don’t understand football beyond being a fan so hopefully someone can help me with this.

So when Enos is talking about an advantage of being under center is that the QB can keep his eyes downfield looking at the secondary, while in shotgun the QB has to look down some, he’s basically making a decision to prioritize that “field of vision” over the detriment of an OL that is unable to protect the QB???

Also doesn’t going to gun and spreading the offense out help the QB dictate to the defense and make it easier to isolate coverages?
