I was lukewarm on the hire initially because A) everybody looks good coaching Alabama players and B) his prior offenses were too "pro style" for my taste.
When he got the job he said all the right things and even had me convinced he had shifted his offense to a more modern style like what we saw at Alabama.
Then he proceeded to call games 1-4 like he was still at Arkansas and the offensive line wasn't a total sieve.
I haven't given up on him, he's shown some positive flashes and I think he's a smart dude but I'm afraid he may too stubborn and I hope he doesn't go down with his "under center" ship. At the very least he's going to have to show he can make some adjustments to counter the fact that the line can't physically do what he wants them to do.
Plus, I like calling him Dan Penos.
