Enos, Baker evaluate where their groups stand coming out of bye

We faced the best defensive fronts already. FIU and Duke should be practice games for Jarren and the OL relative to what they’ve seen this year. So I’m looking forward to some nice offensive production and big plays for this O over the next two games. Get Williams a ton of reps so he can take it to the next level that Enos is talking about. Need that 5 game win streak!

Unless Enos is selling us a bag of ****, JW's future looks really bright. Looking forward to seeing phase 2 and 3.

i think it's a bag of ****. Not sure why he makes it sound so complicated when he is essentially saying Jarren needs to get past his first read. Or make those adjustments at the line pre-snap when he sees a particular look.

It's not rocket science but he makes it sound like it is.

Understand your rationale. Just want us to get better. Thanks!

amazing how play calling gets better when the oline improves

This, my dude. This.

We've actually got a QB who can make the throws. And we have more than enough weapons who are dangerous if given just enough time to allow the play to develop.

Keep improving that OL.

Yeah, me too. I think sometimes coaches throw out all these terms to try and give the impression that they are much smarter than you and maybe should not be questioned. Not a knock on Enos per se. It looks like he has the offense humming right now.

He has changed his play calling to emphasize more of what we do best.

We would still be struggling if he was still forcing the under center outside zone and power runs and the long drop playaction plays off of them.

Now there is more inside zone (which we know well from running it so much under Richt), rpo, and screens. These plays fit our personnel much better and the results will be strong if we stick with it.

Are you suffering from a spectrum disorder?

No. Thanks for the concern. But it’s clear you have some form of malignant mental defect.

If you can explain to me how anywhere in that post it was even subtly implied the players want to play Alabama, I’ll read your explanation with an open mind.

Anxiously awaiting your reply.

Very pleased with Jarrens level of play. Made quite a few veteran moves involving his TD throws especially. All the praise should go to OL, because if they give Jarren even mild protection, we have a good chance of winning any game.

Let me guess, Susan asked about Perry transferring. Stupid question to ask in a press conference when so many other questions could be asked about a bye week.

Really excited about our Defense next year. Blades is balling now and is actually statisically one of the best cover corners in college. Ivey has turned the corner. Bubba was really starting to ball, in fact his last play of season was an INT. Hall is coming into his own. The DL will be monsters again. LB will be a question mark. We cannot minimize what Shaq and Pick have done second half of the season. That tandem produced as high as any other in the nation. We will miss them and will have some growing pains first half of next season, similar to what happened with our secondary this year. The big key to this defense dominating next year is the potential return of Garvin and Bandy. We need these highly productive players to stay their senior seasons. We need to stack our talent and maximize our talent the same way Clemson does. Manny needs to show he can "recruit" in getting these guys to stick around. If they do, this defense will be lights out next year.

People on the autism spectrum normally don’t understand jokes and need them explained. They take everything literally.

They also don’t know how to act appropriately in social situations.

It sounded a lot like you. Still does, actually.

I don’t think you’re fully autistic, but you’re probably on the spectrum, anyway.

N'Kosi is as inaccurate and unreliable (on the field) as he ever was (his final game was 10/24 for 100 yards and a pick) . Yes i know he's grown up and appears to be a great teammate off the field though - but that's not really what we are talking about here.

Tate came here and bombed. Was forced to run under center into a pro style offense that anyone from a million miles away could see wouldn't work.

Jarren has always been the most polished, highest ceiling QB on the team. Going back to pre season of his true freshman year, anyone "in the know" commented that. I don't doubt that after 10 months of coaching and endless reps Jarren hasn't gotten somewhat better. But who knows if that is experience or some Enos attributed QB magic. Gonna take a lot more than looking good against FSU and UL who both rank between 110-120 in passing defense. To crown some arrogant ******* who is making 1.5mm a year.

Maybe you guys forget that good coaches (like Jimmie Johnson) know how to use psychological tricks to push their players to work harder....

Realize that Enos may be egging JW on by pointing out his weaknesses -- he knows JW is a competitor-- and competitors don't like to lose.

Learn to read between the lines-- this game involves lots of psych ops-- and the smart coaches know how to find and push the right buttons in their players to get the best out of them....

This is chess.....no checkers....

All I know is that when Enos says he is excited about something, there’s something really amazing happening. He doesn’t seem like the type to talk like that. I’m excited.

Rousseau is now being schemed against and facing double teams. Hill and Garvin must respond violently.
Is there anyone on FIUs Oline who can consistently stop him from getting to their QB?

Yea psychological tricks on the kid who ate himself into obesity last year and almost transferred.

Then this year he loses his job for multiple reasons to N'kosi for a few games and goes AWOL mid week during practices just 3 weeks ago. Yea def a kid Enos is playing mental warfare with. Great assessment

You’re putting a lot of effort into this, but it’s neither funny or effective. It’s just pathetic.

The fact that you’re coming up with some made-up narrative about there being a joke somewhere there is somewhat mildly amusing though, as it is a very ham handed, transparent and ineffective attempt to save face.

But thanks for the two second almost chuckle.

Don’t worry about it, Rain Man.

It wasn’t my joke, after all. I just understood that he was messing around.
