Don’t worry about it, Rain Man.

It wasn’t my joke, after all. I just understood that he was messing around.

Maybe you need medications for your delusions.

That type of hyper dry humor is unknown on this site.

Usually you get super retarded statements on this site, like people blaming a coach for not apologizing because the OB is not there anymore because of some alleged political ploy by their estranged father. As if any sane person would even consider that.

Or was that a joke as well?

This is a good hot take. It's very disturbing that the offensive coordinator - you know, the guy who actually installed the offense - had to use the bye week (looking at tape, etc) to see that Jarren hasn't mastered every aspect of it. Glad we have fans that, from their couch, can work all this out - despite not being at any of the practices or actually knowing what phase 2 and 3 of the offensive plan are.
it didn't require the bye week for Enos to notice this. Trust me, if the proverbial "any man" in the stands can see it, an OC saw it first, and commented on it to his qb. Enos is just not explaining this to the public because he believes Williams is ready to take the next step and is being pushed to do so. Enos was not going to make this comment early in the season when Williams was still struggling with "phase 1".
I swear some of you write as though you have never coached at even the Pop Warner level. A lot of coaching is how you bring a player along mentally.

Manny Diaz is estranged from his father?

Wasn’t Manny Sr. interviewed on the sidelines this year about how proud he is that his son is the Hurricanes new coach?

Sounded like they’re pretty close to me.

Maybe you just ran out of adjectives.

It’s OK, Rain Man. Keep working at it.

How can one person keep getting things so wrong. Sigh. His father wasn’t a huge part of his life during his youth.

Either way, only a brain addled simpleton would expect an apology for some alleged political transgression by his father.

And he's also the dusty rhodes of college football:

Also i read a funny post, somebody said something like, they'd pay anything to hear coach orgeron sing this:

We've discussEd it with him - some of our plays Within our offense there’s multiple options, RPO stuff in particular, And he’s gotten through phase 1, we haven’t gotteN to phase 2 or 3 yet, there were a couple of opportunities last (game) that we missed, didn’t make the righT decision… For a young player, those are reps, that’s experience. We cAn get to phase 2, phase 3. There are still some times he’s very sure what he’lL do on the front side of the concept, but we may have an Alert throw on the other side. Sometimes we don’t confirm, miss it.

There’s some next level stuff where he can have the entire offense working for him… But I do think one of the biggest improvements he’s made is his drops, pocket posture, bringing his hips through on his throws. And we were commenting just this Morning watching him function in the pocket is like night and dAy from where we were in the 'Spring and even during cAmp. He’s making a lot of Strides. It’s exciting.

I don’t mention or talk to these guyS right now anything about that, they’rE here and I’m going to coach them, aSsume they’re going to Be here for the long-term. I think N’Kosi in particular has handled himself as a True professional this year. He didn’t win the job, Continued to come to work every day, got His opportunity, helped us win some gamEs, played injured, Showed toughness, courage.

Its concerning that it took a bye week for Enos to realize that Jarren is only at a bare minimum proficiency in this offense. I and many have been saying all season that, while he shows promise, he is missing a lot of simple reads and easy plays.

Jarren is getting better as the season goes, but he’s got to accelerate that development.
that isn't close to what he said.

All we can ask for is to see improvements from the team each week.team keeps taking those steps to get better it'll be ok.

This is correct, of course. I was mocking an earlier post.

I figured as much. I was going after the first post as well. I replied to yours simply because it came second. But I do enjoy the people who sincerely believe they are picking upon a player’s deficiency before a coach.

OK

”After taking the bye week to evaluate more of his starting QB’s progress throughout the season, OC/QB coach Dan Enos has come away with the impression that while Jarren Williams has mastered some of the simpler concepts within the offense, there’s still another level he can reach to become an advanced student of the game.”

Of course it’s not, but people make half assed assumptions based upon a basic description without even watching the video.

No. After watching the team play 10 games and the QB1 is still holding the ball when his dump off is standing wide open in front of him for a potential TD, it doesn’t take film review to see that there is much improvement left to be made.

But, yeah, whatever, just keep repeating “mopes gonna mope”, and eventually that will wipe out the fact we wasted yet another season by not realizing full potential. There‘s plenty of time to be good “later”, right?

I don’t disagree on that part. My comment though, was about it taking him 10 weeks to realize it. That’s not what he said or implied if you listened.

I didn’t. I was just going off Stef’s reporting. Stopped listening to Enos weeks ago for self-preservation reasons. We’re going in the right direction, but some concerns have been raised. Hoping we continue to build momentum and capitalize by piling up recruits in the ‘19 class and then wins in 2020. But for now, let’s just say my optimism has dimmed somewhat over the past couple months.

Nobody knows what’s going to happen. We’ll see.

Thanks to Mark Richt I think Jarren has hurt the most from all this. So much playing time and experience was left on the field last year. Man, he could had been ready by this time already. Smh
