Ah, the good old days, when we used to do the "Hey...your momma!" cheer in the 1980s...

Check out the pre-John-Routh-redesign on the Sebastian costume...

Skit, skat, let's go to the Rat!

We wound up on a bus with Yamma Yamma going from NYC to the Meadowlands for the Ohio state kickoff classic in 1998. One of my favorites of him… “kick em in the dirt, drag em in the mud, come on canes, we want blood.”

The guy was a master wordsmith of trash-talking...

Love that man!

You guys ever hear that urban legend that Mr. Rogers was a sniper in Vietnam that had some insane amount of confirmed kills?

Someone once told me that Yamma Yamma was the biggest importer of both cocaine and opium to not only the United State but Canada and Iceland too from 1971 to 1985 and that he singlehandedly funded the overthrow of multiple governments Latin and South America. That still today you can strike instant fear upon anybody over the age of 40 in Medellin just by whispering the name Yammmma Yammmma.

I'm not sure if I believe it. Well at least not all of it.

I also miss the days of the more refined Miami fan. From Yama Yama to this smh:

i always thought there was something suspicious about Yayo Yayo. I even remarked to him once how he resembled Yamma Yamma, just with a pencil mustache. now it's confirmed.

I was in school with the Yamma Yamma Man back in the 60’s. He was indeed Miami to the core. Last time I saw him we had a beer at a bar on Bourbon Street before going to see the canes in the Sugar Bowl. Great, great memories indeed!
Seems like I remember meeting him in a bar down in New Orleans. I can't remember which bar it was, but it was the Canes bar for the Sugar Bowl against the Gator. Fun times.

I went to both of the UM-Alabama Sugar Bowls, and both times there was a bar waaay down Bourbon Street on the left that was the "UM bar". Pretty packed. We had to stay close, for "bathroom" purposes, though we just slashed in the street a few times too.

I was at both those games as well. I think the name of the bar was Fritzell’s. Not really big and it was always packed. But back then Bourbon Street around New Years was a zoo. The good thing was the Alabama girls were really good looking and really fun.
