What would be interesting to see is ranking of Ds who have given up 5+ yards on a rush attempt and for how far.
 
We've played one team in the Top 50 in rushing.

Central Michigan.

How do the rest stack up?

Florida - 103rd (!)
UNC - 77th
VA Tech - 94th
Virginia - 122nd (!)
GT - 72nd
Pitt - 111th (!)
FSU - 108th (!)
Lousiville - 64th

Y'all boys on this mope trend bc we're on a lil winning streak and warming up on the trail, but facts are facts. Call it how it is. These are hardly rushing behemoths on our schedule.

I appreciate Shaq and 56 regardless.

I think Clemson lost their top 5 defensive linemen from last year. Crazy thing they keep winning. Ohio st lost Bosa no big deal. Next man up!!

This is facts. I remember all offseason people were panicking out of their minds thinking that G Willis was the most irreplaceable DT in Miami history since Sapp lol.

And our Run Defense is the best it's been in the 4 years of the Diaz era with Stroud coaching the DL & there's a groundswell of fans that want him fired, despite the fact he's arguably one of our better recruiters too lol.

Clemson lost a DL that were high round NFL draft choices ... and even after losing that caliber of players, Clemson is currently ranked #2 in total defense
