So the all time greatest OSU receiver vs the all time greatest UM receiver. Seems like neither title should eclipse the other.

Not so fast. Indiana gave a blueprint of how you can shut him down. And now he is without his QB. The thing about Mali that I have been preaching is you can’t shut him down. He goes in motions, switches motion, isos, lines up in backfield. There is no defense that can stop him. Smith is a different story. I would love to poll ever defensive coordinator in college and ask them this. Who would keep you up at night preparing for Smith or Mali? Guarantee the answer is Mali by a wide margin.

Yeah, but you’re talking about Heisman voters and you know which way they’re going to lean.

and assuming Heisman voters even watch film or having a basic understanding of the candidates...I believe a strong argument can be made an alarming number of them do not.
 
I think Miami will start featuring Mali (Funny right) to scheme for the Heisman as the season rolls on. As long as it stays close...expect to see more designed passes and runs. A couple TD passes and hopefully one PR TD will be enough to secure the Heisman.

edit: lolol we have 2 guys in the top 3 of the heisman. enjoy it, wasn't too long ago we were watching jake garcia score 12 points total in a 5 OT game lmao
