Good luck to the young man! Seems just absolutely a stellar human being! Also, and I’m not trying to throw shade on him, I am so glad that he is no longer an option at quarterback. I truly would rather take my chances with a red shirt freshman, who may be throwing interceptions too many times and practice and a skinny kid who barely threw any interceptions with a great arm than a guy who completely flaked in the face of adversity in the pop tarts bowl.
And, one more thing, sometimes, you just need a new setting to reinvent yourself. I would not be surprised in the least if he became a serviceable quarterback for his next team. I just think he was damaged goods here and it was best for both parties to have a friendly and amicable partying. Good luck, Emory!
