Nickel should've played the entire 2nd half, there was absolutely no reason for Ember to take a snap in this game.

No, he did not look much improved tonight. He knows the offense and that is about it. Still can't throw or run. His one successful run for a first down does not mean he's improved. Perhaps he looked "improved" compared to his last game when he played against real competition.
