He is brilliant. Alabama invented the Foundation and now the majority of SEC teams have them. Emmert placed himself at the top of the NCAA to protect his fiefdom. They turned a dilapidated region that solely focused on SEC championships into the bastion of college football.

Miami, USC and Texas have sizable advantages over these SEC schools and Emmert and his back-woods cronies outmaneuvered three of the best run universities in the Country. Devious and unethical but brilliant.
Are you saying Miami is well run?

I meant to add that I shouldn't view that in a light where I lump every single person into one..because obviously there are way too many genuinely good people in any age group..but to avoid spiraling anything out into any political spiel that everyone on this board loves to get into haha, ill just leave it at..IMO I feel like the vast majority of problems in any facet of this country/world come mostly from people in charge within that 1946-64 birth range, with archaic mentalities.
I remember when I knew more than my parents.

You want to ruin what we all love - college football, introduce money into it. People dont realize the consequences of what will happen.

Mark Emmert is the Trump for the NCAA student athletes. Basketball and football are the two highest money makers in college and the professional levels too.

There were a few that were still in the ncaa or were never good enough to play in the NFL that sued electronic arts for player likeness. As a result a few of those who initiated the lawsuit got paid and. E/A was forced to stop making ncaa football games by the united states government.

The overall reasoning was that particular video game company was doing the exact same thing that; Every media outlet whether it be a local radio station, t.v. channel, or multi billion dollar entities like. CBS/247. fox etc etc.. When they hype up teams and always mention a star student athlete and show multiple highlights of said individual.

This.

People forget George Bush Jr used his family in Florida to pretty much hack the computers that stored the electoral votes in 2000. They just declared on t.v. that the every poll was recounted many times and Bush jr barely won that election. Bush sr had desert storm, bush jr had Osama bin Laden who it was publicly released that entire white house from 2000 to 2008 knew where he was handing out billions & billions from inside a cave.

Kim Jogn-un lets Dennis Rodman eat popcorn and watch basketball games with him after killing different men that were called "Close Military Advisors." Then Lisa Ling produces on the national geographic united states broadcasted t.v. channel about how North Korea is thriving once again; But world war one and two, then the u/s/a and Russia's whole politic b.s. dubbed the Korean then Vietnam war.

The u.s. invaded Iraq once more after Saddam Hussein was supposedly committing genocide after desert storm. No nuclear weaponry means were ever found. Fake oil pipelines too. The DVR was released to the public in 1999; In the mid 1990's the national news outlets were pleading to do anything to conserve oil and that the entire planet would be lucky to have any fossil fuels left in the earth by the year 2000. Nikola Tesla had a working "Free Electric Energy in the early 1900's" but he was murdered in New York city. There was never different choices when buying gas at a gas station.

Pat Tillman who played in the NFL. Signed a multi million dollar contract with fellow "Minority" to get paid for a game. Gets murdered by friendly fire, they were army ranger special forces from the same unit.. The fact he died by friendly fire was kept classified by the government, and after it was de-classified. His peer who was next to him is on record - rarely though, that he won't talk to anyone; Media reporters and Pat Tillman's own family on how he was really assassinated.

And if he does, good for him. I want everyone to make there money. I don’t care who you are. The kids should be allowed to make there money to. I don’t care what school you are at. If a player gets his mom or dad a job or a nice “Bag” because of his talent then so be it. If Miami can’t out bid LSU then so be it.

No need to cap income if you go and get it or it’s handed to you. What if I said we would cap your raise at .50 cent per hour instead of the .75 cent you were looking for?
Not of fan of that type of bag game TBH, but I agree with your other stuff.

Sadly my friend no one generation has the market cornered on shifty assholes. To pin it on one group is disingenuous...and for the record I'm not a "boomer".

Absolutely agree. We're unfortunately nothing more than bystanders at the end of the day lol
As long as we keep electing the same morons in Washington who have been there for years upon years upon years, we will have the same problems. Biden, Bernie, Clinton, Obama, McConnell, Schumer, Pelosi and many many of the others have all been there since before most of us were born and we expect them to have new ideas?

I dont agree with everything Trump does, but at least he is new to the arena.

That would be great, and it wouldn't be a special football player tax. It would just be tax on ordinary income. If college football scholarship players are allowed to make endorsement money, and Bernie the Red taxes everyone who makes money to pay for "free" college for everyone else, we would have college football players who have earned their full-ride athletic scholarship having to pay taxes on their endorsement income at Bernie's proposed rates of about 60-70%% to pay for other people their age to go to college (and presumably, attend the games in which the athletes play for free). It might be a good thing to have college athletes learn at an earlier age the ills of the socialism they think they want. Lord knows it would be a much better economics education than anyone at Boston University is getting. (AOC graduated from there with a degree in economics...the professors in that entire department should be stripped of tenure and fired for gross negligence [although in reality, they are probably proud of her]).
I was thinking that football is viewed as evil by some, he would create a new tax for just this but sure it would come under ordinary income. Heck, they would just chase down all the bag money and tax it -- either income to the kid or gift tax to the donor.
