Miami would love to land an elite quarterback in the Class of 2027, and few are rated higher than Chicago's Israel "Izzy" Abrams. I caught up with him this week on his unofficial visit to Miami. A transcript of the interview is below:

How do you see this HS QB situation playing out? I know the Canes really like Davidson and his skill set with Dawson's system but Izzy Abrams seems like a priority as well and is really highly rated. They also have been recruiting Lawrence since jr high. What happens if Lawrence reclassifies? Obviously it would be very hard to take two HS stud QBs in the same year as that is a tough sell. Who would be the first option?

Unless news changed very recently, Lawrence has chosen not to reclass and Davidson is getting crystal balls to UF.. I would think after this weekend, QB situation will clear up as decisions will be made in coming week.
