That is true and I'm not saying it because he's my baby. He's always been a team player and extremely passionate about football. He's been playing since 10! Never suspended from school, never had a write up, never hung with the wrong crowd, always made good decisions and if he didn't he would always come to us for direction.
Wait...The one time he got suspended was because someone was pretty much TRYING to bully him. Elijah whooped his *** after 2 days of dude messing with him so they tried to suspend him but you know Mama Roberts went down to the district and handled that. He was back in school the next day. If he's wrong he's wrong but don't mess with my kids when they're defending themselves.

Anyhoo, I digress. He's a good kid🤗
Great story ma’am, thanks for sharing!!! Elijah sounds like he very much has a great head on his shoulders. And great parenting to boot as well!! I have 3 older kids now, keeping that line of communication; good or bad is the key to helping them as they grow into adults and for life. Great job ma’am.

This is a recruit that we can not only be proud of, but that we can use to step up as a Leader, now and in the future.

His upbringing is fantastic, attitude is great, and work ethic is impeccable.

Terrific young man, and a throwback to what our Canes were, .....in....outworking and outplaying others.
It's called striving to be the best. Ed Reed is a good example.

You and your family will be a wonderful addition to our Cane family. Welcome aboard, and thanks for your posts.
Thank you so much! Can't wait to see him in that uniform!

Yes! They will make mistakes and some that will disappoint us but communication is key. They have to know that they can always talk to us.

Caribbean might be a culinary jewel, but if you took all the cuisines from within 50 miles of the Gulf Of Mexico, you'd have the most exciting menu on the planet. You'd have Caribbean, Cajun, Mexican, New Orleans, BBQ.
Absolutely, there is some Mexican Korean fusion that’s legit AF.
But the Caribbean gets very little fan fare. Went to a trini party one time and man the food was legit. That west indie sea food ohhh laawwwd!!
