Yeah he had to throw away like 5 big garbage bags of close because nothing fits anymore! From March to now he grew an inch. He lost weight playing bball but then gained weight which I'm guessing is muscle.

And I can't take any credit on cooking! Pop Roberts is the chef in the house!

I see domebody over their receiving Royal Treatment, oL, pops holding it down baby face style, "soon as I get home, soon as I get home from work-erk" on the food train. But yes indeed that weight gain is all muscle. We glad to have em, plus he close to home,I'm sure he didn't want to get to far from the best lady in his Life tho, keep up the Great work, not that I had tell you that!

Welcome Mama Roberts!! So proud yet humbly honored to have your family now a part of the :neonu: Family!!! God bless you all and we all look forward to him creating his own legacy. Seems like the kind of young man that'll be successful in whatever he does in life, you both did very well. Go Canes!!

That is true and I'm not saying it because he's my baby. He's always been a team player and extremely passionate about football. He's been playing since 10! Never suspended from school, never had a write up, never hung with the wrong crowd, always made good decisions and if he didn't he would always come to us for direction.
Wait...The one time he got suspended was because someone was pretty much TRYING to bully him. Elijah whooped his *** after 2 days of dude messing with him so they tried to suspend him but you know Mama Roberts went down to the district and handled that. He was back in school the next day. If he's wrong he's wrong but don't mess with my kids when they're defending themselves.

Anyhoo, I digress. He's a good kid🤗

I love reading this, and pretty much anything on this young man.

Won't look for trouble, but will have no concern handling trouble if/when it shows up in his face. Work ethic is clearly strong. Speaks with confidence and respect during his interviews. And he didn't play games or behave like a "look-at-me" recruit.

As a former teacher, this is the sort of young man that I can tell right away was raised with love, discipline, and respect. You and pops did a great job, and as a UM alumni I can't way to see Elijah grow as a fellow cane over the next few years.

Go Canes!

You described him to the "T" and thank you for the kind words!

Thanks for sharing Mrs Roberts @Elijah's Biggest Fan! For the majority of us, it’s a rare opportunity to get info on the experience of a CFB player - and an exceptional one at that

Wish Elijah and your entire family all the best and can’t wait to see him terrorizing opposing offenses in the near future.
Thank you so much. I was skeptical in posting the picture here because I haven't been saved forever and I still know how to cuss. Wasn't sure if I had to deal with trolls and risk losing my religion!😂 I'll share what I can with y'all tho!

He hasn't really said much. He did say one of the coaches said him and Quentin were some big freshmen 😂
Thanks for the response. You probably remember I've long predicted he'd end up using his skill set to be a star 3Tech DT (inside) in our defense. Probably since I watched him as a Junior. But, we'll see how his body develops, as he'll probably need to be around 285 to consistently crush it in that role. He's extremely young, so it's just a wait and see thing. Hardworking, focused players like him and families like yours are an asset to our program regardless of what happens on the field.
