The more I watch this tape, the more I'm ready to start talking crazy. Of all the routes he ran, that comeback was my favorite. His ability to shake the defender off even when he's getting held and come back with speed to snatch the ball out the air was a sight to see.

Total 5* and is handling his recruitment like a pro. Before this weekend I was fine if we didn't land him. Now, he's a MUST get to put the bow on this class IMO.
He got that Toney in him no pause. Being dead serious though this dude looks like Isaiah Bond that went to Bama.

He's got that go/post like Bond but I think Woodard is even more polished as a route runner, ALREADY. Let alone when he's 2-3 years into our scheme...

I'm mad excited for this kid man - him and Nick are going to do some serious damage here. And with Toney in his JR season... lawd

Unstoppable, the only way to stop that is have an elite pass rush and even then if we have an elite OL you are cooked.

Unfknstoppable.

Can you imagine if one of our backs is able to turn into a CMC type that we can line up on 3rd down while we go 4 wide and their pass rush is pinning ears back and everyone thinks we're going for sticks on 3rd and long but instead we hit em with a texas route and whole middle of field is vacated because our demons on the outside took their DB's with them?

We're about to go so crazy on offense with Mensah and the playmakers we have. If we're somehow able to convince him to come back next year too, Mario might go B2B #6 and #7

How does Woodard compare to Upshaw and Wingo in HS? He seems behind Mali and Lennear. Light years behind Brysen Wright and JJ. Is this guy like actually good or a JAG?

I think we flip Cook later tbh, we will circle back imo

Kid has great hands
His catch radius makes it easy for QB
And some of the intangibles that Mario is looking for
This kid has it in spades
He’s a dog and lives and breathes football!!!!!

Ochocinco if he grew up in Cali.

Isaiah Bond’s —10.4 100m/sub 21 200m— speed, which Woodard doesn’t have, is too essential to his game for the comparison imo. Bond is faster than he is quick, with a 4.35 forty and a 4.48 shuttle. Woodard is at least two inches taller too.
