Porkys was filmed at the original Miami Beach High School, although it was Ida Fisher Junior High at the time of the filming I believe.

The tallywacker had a mole on it!!!!
And I've never forgiven Alex Karras for harassing those boys.
Paging Mike Hunt. Has anyone seen Mike Hunt........

TrumpyCane wants to know if you're giving Washington State #1 overall pick in Ward or Miami?

Not sure how Cal gets credit for Mendoza, he wasn't even above average there, he's not going anywhere near #1 if he stayed there
For identifying and developing him out of HS?no he didn't go there first. But their coach? Yes cause he's the one that got Cam out of HS and they went to Wazzup together. Simple. And then they got Mateer. So they clearly had a good ID and develop ploine going. But what happened when coach left?, cals has been over multiple coaches now. That's the point.

He's a Cane, but acting like other programs can't say they developed him is dumb. Cam was 1000% a draft pick if he declared or stayed at Wazzu. Same with Mendoza. Would they have been #1 picks? Maybe not. But it's not like cams 5th yr here changed him from being a bum to elite.... Mendoza was good at Cal. He was absolutely on draft radar.

I expected this from you. First it was 20 years. Now it's 22. Mendoza is a Cal QB when it works in your favor. Is it two #1 overall picks or 3? Cuz I count one - Goff. Rodgers was #24 and Mendoza was drafted as a QB from Indiana. Last I checked Russell Wilson (Mr. Unlimited) played for several years at NC State before transferring for one year to Wisconsin and he seems to always be introduced as "Russell Wilson, Wisconsin" unless he's doing one of his weird things. I don't actually think our QB development and results have been as good as Cal's over the last 20 years, but I used it to show how dumb your rationale is. Goff and Rodgers are elite. The rest suck. 2 elite QBs over 22 years is good, not epic.

I have a job and I'm working today. I don't have time to play with you today. Take your moving goalposts and find someone else who has the day off. I have a couple exes who did that stretching of the truth and moving of the goalposts stuff, therefore I've reached my lifetime saturation point of feminine arguing. Have a nice day and bless your heart.
Rodgers was drafted 2005. Last yr was 2025 draft. Lol acting like 21 yrs vs 20 is such a big difference. Notice I said Rodgers in my very first post. But yes extending it out another couple and adding Boller is just further proving my point lmao. You can hate on Cal all you want. I don't see you posting the plethora of programs who had more day1+2 draft picks enter their program out of HS.... Lol. I mean by how you're talking there's gotta be like 20

Listing players that have been "developed" at schools that no longer have the same coaching staff is pointless. Once the coaching staff changes, it might as well be considered a different college team.
I specifically said over multiple coaching staffs. Which is actually a very good ppint

Yall gotta stop with this "factory" and "NFL U" stuff. No kid is going to Cal because Aaron Rodgers was developed there. This is insanity.
What a stupid ******* claim lmao.

Nobody will go to Miami because of our long history of elite players. Certainly anyone out of HS that mentions any of our former players is just lying and it had zero impact. Even if it made them fans of the program growing up, that doesn't matter. All time great alums do nothing for the program and future recruiting. All those Pictures recruits post of Sean Taylor are a scam

You disagreeing proves my point even more. Appreciated.

Looking good now…weathered the storm
Nice. I assume if we get him WR class is done. Next yrs looks expensive already.

Still Need a TE2, and imo another OT and RB -, maybe late riser, and the offense is finished.

Mendoza wasn’t inspired by our Heisman trophy winners or even Ken Dorsey; he was inspired by Malik Rosier and Brad Kaaya as he said so himself. JKS didn’t care about Aaron Rodgers when he committed to Cal; once he knew Mendoza was leaving + he wouldn’t beat out Dante Moore he left Oregon within two weeks of his enrollment.

I suspect Tosh Lupoi will tap into the endlessly seemingly tiny yet impactful positives of being an alum coaching one’s own Alma mater. For starters, he actually played with Aaron Rodgers and Marshawn Lynch so I’m sure it’s easier to actually use them if need be.

It’s great we have our legends to cherish and recruits obviously respect that but Mario & Mirabal’s job got easier after Penei Sewell got drafted, and got easier again after Bell and CiCi got drafted. He can reach out to the 1st OTs who he knows as well; but families + kids absolutely want to know who they actually coached. Rob Likens sold Brandon Aiyuk and N’Keal Harry; not Reggie Wayne and Andre Johnson.

We literally just saw this be the case with Neimann Lawrence. Whether or not Sark’s narrative was accurate is irrelevant; Sark utilized the fact that Beck, Mensah and Ward were transfers against Miami.

There are a fair share of recruits who are certainly aware of a schools legacy at a given position or players coaches have produced no matter where they've been. I know for a fact that one of Miami's current commits is aware of the history at his position without going into detail.

I can't attach an excel file to the post. I don't know how to create a zip file. However, trust me or not, what I have compiled is like a combination of the Zapruder film and the Epstein files merged. I'll figure out how to get it uploaded to this site even if I have to print it page by page. USC and LSU are at the top of the heap. Alabama and Ohio State also.

Now I would like to point out how you want to stretch the rules from 20 to 22 (it's not off by one year, it's off by two. I know it's confusing, but you'll figure it out sooner or later), which ok, big deal. However you mentioned Rodgers (again) who transferred in to Cal from JuCo, yet you mention two sentences later the "plethora of programs who had more day1+2 draft picks enter their program out of high school. You know, exactly what Rodgers DID NOT do. lol (<-- trying to dumb it down to your level lol).

Lastly, I did not hate on Cal. I said they're not great at producing QBs the way you say they do. I then used Miami's last 20 years as a backdrop to show that we've had similar results, yet no one is saying Miami's had elite QB development. You don't like the results, so now you're picking it apart and changing the rubric, only in situations where it benefits your (false) claim.

You are entitled to your own opinion. You are not however entitled to your own facts.

The rules? My original comment was just saying Cal usually gets good QBs lmao, and have done so over multiple HC, and literally said Rodgers. You want to make some big argument over 21 vs 20, or 25 to include Boller… lmao it just proves how stupid your argument is.

Upload that Zip… or zip it lol
