They "work" from home.

All this continual grill talk made me decide last week that I needed to refurbish my grill! It's 22 years old but it's a Lynx and those cast brass burners and heavy duty grates will last forever, no lie. It's all the little stuff that is is broken or trashed like the ignitors, the briquette trays, light switch etc.

I am giving it some love and fixing all the little stuff plus some preventative items like replacing the pressure regulator and hose... first batch of parts gets here tomorrow!

Should be good as new and ready for the next 20 years by the time I am done. This grill will probably outlive me...

Don’t yall work
All. The. Time.
My days begin at 5 am with first business activities around 6 am. Six days a week and it could be seven if I allowed it. On any given day, I may buy product, sell product, QC product, forecast, talk to vendors, field incoming calls, pull/pack orders, send invoices, call receivables, cut checks, cold call, emails x 1000, visit a customer, attend a conference and plan the associated travel. Each day is different. Some days involve most of the items I listed; other days may involve only a couple. The frequency varies daily as well. I delegate where I can, but sometimes I have to get up off my culo and get the ole hands dirty. It’s all part of it. I am essentially task driven and goal oriented. Some of the tasks take 10 minutes, others take massive hours. Why am I sharing all this info? Because jumping on here to make an unfunny (sometimes funny tho) joke or a dumb retort offers me a small respite from the daily grind whether it’s another chiseling customer or the incoming cold call from a complete stranger who somehow feels like we are “buddies” after 30 seconds on the phone. Basically I trade one group of annoying people for another (and I am 100% qualified to make that assessment), but this is the group that shares with me the passion for the Mighty Miami Hurricanes. We byke and I’m excited asf about it.

As Mario would tell Eli, it’s time to WORK!

Voila, back on topic. 😉

Don’t yall work

I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.
