Eli Acker OT

I'd like them to start doing what Jimmy Johnson did with the defense, but on the OL. Get kids that are playing TE at 6'5" or or taller, and bring them in and turn them into tackles. Fox wasn't a TE, but came in light, Zion Nelson is looking like he is going to do well. Eric Winston was a classic case. All kids put on weight in college, but putting on good weight to a kid with a TE frame, who comes in at 250-260 lb's, who can move well, seems like a good way to get better athletes at the position.
We did this with Mark Cooper and Carlos Etheridge, among others

Jimmy and I think Dennis) also took quite a few DLs and moved to OL.

A lot of these guys went to the NFL.

You missing the point. The issue isn't with developing those guys. The issue came when guys saying walker is just a luxury because we have those linemen who will likely need 3 years before they are ready.

We might not be able to load up on elite talent right now but getting players like walker and rivers and then adding a few developmental guys is the best route to take.

You don't have the time at miami to do what wisconsin does. This fanbase is expecting wins and to eventually compete in the playoffs.

This o-line is already questionable and lacking talent and depth. Adding just projects and hoping they turn out to be good years from now isn't how you flip the room.
We’re loading up on elite athleticism tho. If they are getting developed, that’s better than being highly rated.

Its not. Just because they are athletic doesn't mean they will be good players. The highly ranked guys have a greater chance of being good players.

according to the results in the field. Yall just see some o-linemen who werent highly ranked get drafted high and think that's the route.
It’s been happening like that for the longest with OL. The one thing you find in almost all of them is athleticism tho, that’s the common denominator not Stars.
