$$$ Effect of Reed & King (Lashlee)?

Diaz fixes problems. He’s done that since he’s been here. He made a huge mistake hiring Enos, but at the time, snatching the future OC from Alabama seemed like a good thing. Lashlee’s hiring is one a lot of people have been screaming for here for years. People have wanted an up tempo spread offense, and now they have it, and a proven QB who can run it, not just one who potentially will be good. Next thing to fix is the locker room, and I think that’s where Ed Reed comes in.

I'm in (always). Diaz has to be better this year. Hopefully he is more than what many think he is and will continue to improve. Like every other profession either he improves or he's out. The advantage I see with with Diaz is he will not take another job and leave Miami. We can have continuity at head coach for the next 10-15 years. I look at our in state rivals and neither of those guys is staying at their respective jobs if they have 2-3 years great success (But please no chips)..

Optimism is back to the standard Canes fan level Coastal Champs... We playing Clemson... Undefeated Season... Playoffs is possible... We back levels. Lol. I just want to win a game after the bye week. Not trying to be doom and gloom. Genuinely envy you all's optimism. Hope I am wrong.

I feel the fires and hires and King inking show that CIS is really the puppet master now...lol. Seriously, I do think it shows commitment to winning. I believe the 🐐 20 hire puts a buffer between the program and BJ who admitted he knows nothing of football. If he sticks his fingers in our chili now, #20 will bite them off. 20 has more power than people believe. If BJ causes a sheet show that forces 20 out, there will be a PR sheetstorm lime this program has never imagined....just my opinion. So I love the new vector we’re on.

To be fair they should be sucked back in . If King and Lash can't bring winning football next season to UM especially with that schedule then it ain't ever coming back.

I would guess it has had/will have a large monetary effect.

I was 100% not renewing until we got King.

Lashlee got me a bit excited for what was to come for the offense in the future, but King sealed the deal for me personally.

I have been waiting to decide what I was going to do. I live in NY and have 4 season tickets and make a decent donation. This year, after the changes made in recent weeks, I decided to keep only two season tickets and NOT make the donation. I guess you can call it a wait and see mode.
I am optimistic that we will see significant improvement on the field but if that doesn't happen, my feeling is the small investment made this year will be worth it for the FSU game, if nothing else. 2021 is another season...

Nobody says it has to be all that. One game at a time optimism is fine. For your sake, Stay feeling down so when we do win it'll be much sweeter....
But i have a feeling you'll find something else to complain about.

Most of the people here encouraging people to not buy season tickets have never had season tickets themselves, and of those, most don’t even go to any games. I know there are a small handful here that did cancel, but that’s it.

I don’t need off-season hype to renew. As a matter of fact, I’m not sold Manny is the answer and think there’s a good chance he won’t even be the coach this time next year (and neither will Blake be the AD).

I’m a cane by birth, by choice, and by degree, and that’s never changing. The rest of you SEC cüm-garglers can go be LSU fans or Gaturd fans (half of you already are).

In the end, I actually don’t care who cancels just don’t tell me what to do.

I'm not complaining at all. The off-season has been amazing. I guess my only point is I feel for the hype last year. Not doing it this year. Prove it year for me. I have backed off the complete fire Manny train for now because he has made significant positive changes.

I renewed my seats as well but this might have been the closest I ever was to not renewing. And I’m the idiot who attended pretty much every home game of the Shannon and Golden eras.
I generally enjoy the game experience. The tailgating, the time I get to spend with friends who I get to see less and less as years go by. Still, I’ve seen enough of the “give them time to work it out “ crap. The offense was 100% trash and had Barry and Enos not been fired, I would have been watching the games from my couch.

This is all anecdotal and I'm not really trying to debate whether one should or shouldn't have renewed their season tix but I'm curious what you guys think was the monetary result of the King transfer/Lashlee hire and Ed coming onboard?

I personally know at least 5 separate season ticket holders that thought they were out but got dragged back in either after the King transfer/Lashlee hire or then at the last minute after Ed's hiring.

If you conservatively figure that season ticket holders are dropping a grand on seats and parking passes each then this ends up being a pretty sizable financial swing.

Even if just 2500-5000 seats were saved by the deadline on Friday then you're talking like $2.5 - $5 million dollars.

Did you guys experience the same or did the people you know stick to their "no mas" guns?

The only one we can hang our hat on is ed reed, this man is a H.O.F. working at UM, LOL, tells you how much he wants to be here and how important it is to em, like zo, he not coming in to be mediocre, so now, not only do we got a db coach who is a national champion and a 1st round draft pick, we got 2.0. E-reed on deck now, 2 guys that are certified Miami culture cornerstones. They'll both continue to humble alot of these young cats down and who alot of the players have automatically listened too. I cant wait to see what our db's will look like this year before reed, now that reed is here, going to be real interesting, good luck coach banda, lol, who i actually like coach banda being here.
