I agree, but still don't see how that's "bad news". The line isn't Vegas's prediction, it's just the point where they think equilibrium is reached on both sides of the betting.

I do think we'll be able to draw a lot more conclusions from our squad after this game than the UAB game.

My point is that would not be an "equilibrium" line. That would be a "were begging for action on Miami" line. Again idt that will be the line anway. Im guessing anywhere from Miami -2.5 to Louisville -2.5. Tough line to guess tbh.

I'd be shocked if they were favored by more than a point or 2. Anything over 3 would really surprise me. Vegas has to take into account that "home field advantage" has been severely neutered by COVID crowd restrictions. You almost have to treat all these games like neutral site affairs.

Very true about the home field points usually counts for 3. Wonder how that is being worked in/worked out. Interesting.
