Polamula not on Reeds level

He's not but it's not insane to say he's in the immediate level below Ed. Polamalu was like a version of Junior Seau in the defensive backfield. A very unique talent that could sometimes take over games on his own.

Even putting my Canes bias aside, Ed Reed and Sean Taylor are as good as any I've seen at S.

Ed Reed is the GOAT but Polamula is in the conversation
Love Polamalu, but they aren't in the same level. Polamalu is up there with greats like Ronnie Lott and John Lynch (who absolutely deserves to be in the HOF), but Reed is top of the top.
 
If you subtracted all of Polamalu’s int return yards from Reed’s int return yard total, reed would still be top 6-7 all time in return yards. That tells you all you need to know.
 
For the record, Sean Taylor is the best college safety I ever saw, and as good a safety as I ever saw. Had he lived, he retires the Goat, imo.
