Manny likes to talk about this nebulous "Miami Standard," over and over and over - but he sure doesn't want anyone from our past success who actually KNOW what the "Miami Standard" is - lest they laugh at Manny and tell him all the **** he's doing wrong and to shut the **** up and just do it rather than talk about that which he apparently knows very little about.

No Zo., No Reed. None of them!

You can forget all that stuff. We even had players volunteer to do some one-on-one coaching last season - and they were disgusted with the effort and their attention level.

But do you think Manny jerked a knot in their azzes? Nope.

If the Market thinks Ed Reed can't coach DBs (especially Safeties) or isn't an instant upgrade on a staff....CaneinOrlando has Absolutely no rap for them....

Does anyone know for sure Ed WANTS to coach?

Maybe heā€™s enjoying retirement šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø People on here talking like Ed is in the papers/internet begging for a coaching job.I donā€™t remember any article where he said he wanted to coach on the collegiate or pro level.If there was one I missed it.Gotta believe if he wanted or even thought he could coach he could get an NFL gig if he wanted it.

Iā€™d really like to know if he WANTS to coach.

Maybe he just wants to relax after beating up his body for the last 20+ years.

Iā€™d love for UM to have Ed on staff, on campus, teaching classes, doing anything. But you have to think that after all the money he has made, it canā€™t be that enticing to start working 16 hour days. We all want Ed, but does Ed want it enough to make that kind of sacrifice?

Seems like Barry thinks James and Diaz are just ****ing around on this issue. Throwing out big names, pretending to want a ChiEd or Staff and ultimately always coming away stating that they couldnā€™t work things out. Reeks of cowardice and borderline incompetence.
