I'll say 8-4

Change the schedule and the head coach and I'll still say 8-4

I'm sure there will be millions of details during the offseason. I'll ignore them and say 8-4

This was my 2019 prediction in early August, after reports leaked from how bad our offensive line performed during the scrimmage. It was what I called a "nightmare" forecast, contingent on our offensive line being as bad as what was rumored:

(W) 28-21 Boston College
(W) 21-10 Central Michigan
(W) 13-10 @ Virginia Tech
(L) 10-24 Virginia
(W) 28-03 Georgia Tech
(L) 17-34 @ Pittsburgh
(L) 13-28 @ Florida State
(W) 35-10 Louisville
(L) 23-24 FIU
(W) 17-10 @ Duke

Obviously got some games wrong, but got the 0-2 start right and the loss to FIU correct.

The front end of the schedule may be easier, but the back end is not. We could easily be looking at 5 wins

Stating the obvious on my part but UAB could absolutely beat us
 
2-10. Read it and weep. We beat Wagner by a few points and get a lucky break somewhere along the way when one of the remaining teams has a rash of injuries or someone gives us a lucky turnover. Another thought: How many of our current players (who are actually good) enter the portal to get away from this train wreck? If I thought I had a chance to play at a winning program, I'd bolt for sure because this mess will only get worse.

186 points total for next season, with 15.5 PF avg per game (lowest in modern Miami history). Defense is slightly worse than other Diaz squads, and you see the team packing it in after the FSU loss.

Sounds about right. The more important question is which game is manny fired immediately after?

If everything breaks our way and I mean every break a team can get, 1-11. But it has to all break right. We then win game 2 or 3.
 
The benchmark for firing is 5-7 or worse. otherwise he gets a 3rd year. yes - i know.

i believe we will win 8 games.
