Oh he is. He is a good person. But some of my former teammates from high school said they felt Juju was overrated. So it’s interesting that you have the same thought process as them and you dont know him.

I mean you make a good point. But I remember UGA people thought Beck was the reason they were winning that year.

I am not necessarily saying he would be the culture wrecker but if there is definitely a culture wrecker and it’s at the QB position, you can bet your *** the QB would set the program back.

If Mario thinks he would wreck the culture he has built, it won’t happen.
If Mario thinks he will fit in and maybe add to the culture and is another Alpha, he may be our QB

Mario and staff KNOW exactly what they are looking for!!!!! They have this figured out as Ward and Beck have created the roadmap to what we want from a portal QB

Not trying to get in the middle but compared to last year, you can see a giant upward trajectory in his play even in his stats. 13 to 18 TDs, 11 to 6 INTs, 67 to 72% completion percentage. Thats what you want to see.

I haven’t watched raiola film. Just had them on the quad box a few times this season and had a 1/4 eye on him. Didn’t love him, but not gonna pretend I saw enough to pass judgment.

Only point I was trying to make was he went to Nebraska at their lowest, when it was a total rebuild. Started as a true freshman. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is more in the tank than what he has shown thus far.

You very well could be correct. I dont pretend to know everything like a lot of people on CIS. I have no issue in admitting I’m wrong if Dylan balls out here if he comes

But
If Mario and crew have pegged him as the guy

If it’s sorsby Leavitt matteer brown Simpson etc…it doesn’t matter to Me as I know they do their homework and will get It right

Naw eff that, I dont care what he did he can help us win. Its been over 20 years since we've been relevant and I dont want this feeling to end anytime soon.

2-3. So if it’s 3, and 1 is from the portal, which many of them are now, it would be 33%.

Last year, it was 100% (Cam and Dart). You had Penix the year before.

Then you had Dillon Gabriel, Sanders, Shough, etc that were drafted later on. All portal QBs.

What is your point because you don’t have an argument from what I can see.

Consider the number of portal QBs.


How many portal guys last year. By far more than 3 as you noted. Its not 33%
And surely not 100%
 
He can move in the pocket and has great arm talent. Deep balls seems lacking. But vs P4 he is 10 TD’s to 6 INTs this year. 8 Td’s came against Akron, Cincy and FCS. I also generally ‘think’ Nebraska and Rhule suck but truthfully haven’t watched a game of them
