I think much like Beck the ego stuff is overblown. Funny thing is because of his reputation i kind of assumed he was a gun slinger but after watching him I find myself saying he needs to take more chances. He's more of a check down Charlie than I would of ever imagined

He's the most talented QB in the portal and athletic enough. RUN ME MIAMI MAHOMES
 
Potential issue - I live here in Buford GA, where his brother was QB1. He de-committed from Nebraska, a week or so before his brother entered portal. I know the father wants them together. We already have Dereon Coleman in the class. I dont believe the little brother ever committed again. This is a potential barrier, as the brother is a lefty QB, and same class as Dereon Coleman

there aren't even close to being in the same category
Dayton is a g5 qb at best

I kept thinking it’s odd we hear nothing from our side about him
This seems to be the play for qb next year
As long as we don’t need to break the bank let’s go

This hits most everything. Only additions would be a slap to the kisser & remind him it’s a new day. Finally, change his jersey number & if still hung up on role playing, suggest he mimic Carson Beck or check out Ken Dorsey tape.
 
Same people knocking DR would take Leavitt which is weird to me.

People can learn and grow. We have a developer of men In Mario.

ZERO people now question Beck and his attitude.

One guy would not break this culture. If anything he would assimilate to it. If you ever been in a good environment you know people protect that at all cost. He would struggle to find another home if it didn’t work out here. He would have as much on the line as us, and his family would know that too.

He’s the best passing qb available. He would dominate here with this Oline. I watched enough film to see him manipulate defenses wit his eyes, have pocket presence, and make NFL throws.

Of course he has warts, all the qbs do in the portal. But Our Oline makes some of those warts go away.

I don’t know much about Raiola and find him largely annoying.

That said, he was brought in and immediately GIVEN the savior role there, which they had to do in order to flip him. If he actually goes somewhere where there is a culture that exists and he actually buys into it and maximizes his talent, you could basically script the Fowler feature on the kid during the Heisman ceremony now. Oregon and Miami both make sense from that perspective. Also gotta get rid of all the hangers-on that are around him at Nebraska.
