Dylan Raiola Enters Portal

Pipo, now granted I didn't watch much of Colandrea at UNLV this year, but isn't the issue with him that he, in fact, does not know when to fold 'em and does craaaaazy stuff then turns the ball over a lot? His INT rate did improve but he also fumbled the ball 7 times.
Correct.

This dude has a 94 rating in the transfer portal right now on 247.

The transfer ratings can be a little off on QB when it comes to guys that haven’t played much, and aren’t far enough removed from their elite HS ranking to justify dropping them much. Guys like Aiden Chiles that were one year removed from their borderline 5* ranking out of HS.

But the list of QBs with a 94+ rating as transfer QB since ‘22:

Rattler
Ewers
Caleb Williams
Jaxson Dart
Hartman
Leary
Sayin
Chiles
Cam Ward
Dante Moore
Nico
Beck
Mateer

How many of these QBs are you not taking to start next year to get us to the playoffs?

Raiola is almost a guaranteed sure thing based on this transfer rating history.
I wouldn't take:

Rattler (**** attitude)
Leary
Chiles

50/50:
Hartman. Played in a specific offense but has great hair.

Yes, these are highlights but claiming that this dude doesn't have mobility, the arm talent, nor the accuracy is just stupid. We got a poster on here saying Raiolo needs to lose 15lbs. You guys suck. You don't like him because of the Mahomes ****. And that's the only reason.

His teammates suck.

If he's the guy learn to love it. As for the Mahomes stuff, who gives a sh*t? Mahomes is a dork but he's still a pretty **** good QB and I don't mind a guy emulating his game.

Cam Ward fumbled way worse but he also drove us crazy when he didn’t take the easy stuff.

He runs at a good clip (5 yards per carry) and developed well under that awesome QB guru that used to coach UiF (Don’t want to say his name because I love him 😂😂😂- love you Dan!! - pause).

I wouldn’t take Chiles, but he’s the exception on the list.
He had a 96 rating coming out of HS. Was only one year removed from HS. Played as a FR, and flashed a little. You had to blindly keep a high rating on him.

He’s probably the only real bust on the list, and that’s because his rating was still based on HS.

When giving these ratings based on college production, the list is insanely accurate.

He's not fat lol

His Sophomore and Junior years were ****. Compared to the "portal field", I'd take the field over him.

He played on some really bad teams that didn’t give him any help.

If you told me right now that Miami’s ‘26 QB will go in the 5th round of the ‘27 Draft, I’m taking that. We’re going to the playoffs and possibly making a run with that.

Take either way, but he needs to drastically improve his pocket awareness. They beat both Michigan and Minn if he doesn’t take 468 sacks.

P-Tizzle, on the Caneinsight message board, does not want DR. Hopefully Mario and Shannon are following this thread right now. Could change everything boys. Go Canes
Hey dumbass. If DR means Dylan Raiola, I’m all for it. My previous post you are responding to (ie the QB that had bad sophomore and junior years is Spencer Rattler). At least, the very least, have your info correct before trying to make an *** out of someone.

what about Giovanni Carmazi and Spergon Winn? They were also drafted. Carmazi in the 3rd round and Winn in the 6th round.

People really forgetting the second half of that iowa state game and letting the clemson win and the FSU close loss cloud their judgement
Exactly, got into it with a poster on a Canes page on Facebook, I know it’s petty doing that but he irritated the **** out of me. His argument was we had our qb of the future in Williams. Course I asked him if he saw the 2nd half of the Iowa State game, he said yeah but he beat Clemson. I said yeah, Clemson is not the Clemson of old, he said it didn’t matter that it was still Clemson , so I asked again why he was using a game the year before as a catalyst for Williams to start instead of a game last year that we couldn’t even pass more than 5 yards and basically ran the ball all the time, he just basically said had he didn’t get hurt against FSU we probably won that game, I said again a year before. Mind blowing. Everytime I see Williams come in the game it irritates me, instead see what Nickel has for more than just a series or 2 and handing the ball off.

P-Tizzle, All-American member of the Caneinsight message board, is in fact all in on DR joining the Canes for next year and beyond. Huge news for Mario, Shannon and canes fans everywhere. Go Canes
