Dwayne Lawson MVP honors

After Friday’s performance it appears Hillsborough just might have a chance to beat the Hawks, especially with quarterback Dwayne Lawson at the helm. Against Jefferson, Lawson was nothing short of spectacular, completing 22 of 33 passes for 241 yards and two TDs and rushing 15 times for 112 yards, including a 53-yard TD run.

“As Dwayne goes, we go,” Garcia said. “He came up big tonight

Alot of people are jumping over lawson to alison but i think this kid is pretty **** talented

Kids legit, just a shame he doesnt have as many weapons as some other Qbs. and to add to that hillsborough lost their best wr to an acl tear

Imagine if he was on sta instead of gibson

I think you mean heritage, but either way if it was at sta or heritage he might be a 5 star to these recruiting sites if you care about that star bull****

You are 100% correct my friend.

Not sure yet, hate going out to armwood for games personally, but im gonna see if my buddy wants to head out there

That's going to be a good game for sure... and btw, Pete doesn't know what the **** he's talking about...it blows my mind that a bunch of grown *** men listen to Pete's evaluation of talent...Pete is good for the insight to the team and he does a good job of that, but it has to stop there...

I'll be there for sure. Hopefully, I can make my way to Hillsborough sideline.

Not trying to hate on the kid, happy he's a cane, but he's a poor man T. Gibson which is scary. I just call it like I see it. He did not impressive me in 7 on 7 where he also did not start for his team. He has size but not a strong arm like some on here think. I could be wrong but I do not see him fitting in our offense well. I wonder if Pete can answer how the coaching staff feels about this one since he had a lot of noncommittable offers and committed out of nowhere to secure a spot. Personally, we may need to recruit another QB cause if Kaaya goes down next year, we are screwed.

Finch u can't be serious? Are u?

Just voicing my opinion D like everyone one else does, not trying to hate on the kid or give him a bad rep so my bad if I came off like that. But lets just remember I'm the same guy that fought for scarlett when a lot of people criticized him early in the process, I'm also the same guy that said fournette was good but a little overrated(and all I mainly do is rep Louisiana prospects on this site), lets not pull up old threads. My point is evaluating talent is one of my strengths, ball is looking bleak for me but I have several coaching options at the drop of a dime at the NCAA level. I just want the best for the Canes.

Kaaya goes down lol........ as if he's tearing up the world right now. This kid can't do any worse than kaaya which so far is to throw more INTS than td's right he can't possibly hope to soar to those heights of QB efficiency kill yourself lol.

longer clip of the work he did, they didnt score but he had some good things he can do

That post made me laugh, several coaching options at the drop of a dime. Bill Polian is that you?

Kid is a stud.... He brings something to coral gables that we have needed for a LONG time, a big dual threat quarterback
