RB's rookie payscale debatablely should be higher, that position gets ****ed so hard financially, in retrospect to their peer salaries/career longevity.
Okay, so what are the payouts? That is from multiple sources regarding an NFL pension and is peanuts compared to the other major sports.
Ravens should give him a callhard to swallow that Duke might be done in the NFL. still a free agent with the season around the corner. never really used well with the Browns or Texans. recognize he has some limitations in the NFL. anyways, wish the kid well, gave it all for the U.
You would think he would've realized this in college. Everyone isn't getting paid like Cook, Elliott... Bell fell off because of that year off.Duke might not want to play. I remember when he was in Cleveland he asked Hugh jackson to move him to wr and Jackson said no. And he said his advice to kids is to play some other than rb and said if he could do it over he would play DB.
I think Duke has plenty left too. But he had injuries last year, and his 3.1 ypc was the lowest of his career by far. I think it was just a down year though.I don’t see Duke as diminished at all, he’s just limited. He was never gonna be a 3 down back. He could easily play another 5 years at a high level in the right offense.
Unless you're Frank Gore the shelf life for running backs is short, it is going to be weird with no Gore this season. Duke did get once good contract and should be ok financially and could get picked up during the seasonRB's rookie payscale debatablely should be higher, that position gets ****ed so hard financially, in retrospect to their peer salaries/career longevity.
Actually legitimately sad about likely not seeing Gore anymore. Last vestige of the early 2000s if im not mistaken.Unless you're Frank Gore the shelf life for running backs is short, it is going to be weird with no Gore this season.
