As a realist i have to go Gordon. Duke gets hurt every single game. he has a ton of heart and is a fighter and i commend him for that but durablity is a huge issue for me. i remember his sophomore season i was like i wonder when duke is going to exit the game for an injury. as a NFL GM thats a huge concern. my concern with Gordon is that when the lights are on and the stage is bright. he disappears in a big way. Duke flourishes in those moment. but the NFL is Not For Long and i need to run like Gordon into the ground. if duke can somehow overcome his durabilty issues. he will be a versatile weapon.
If duke wasn't fumbling or on the sideline hurt when the game is on the line, we were getting beat in a night game with ease or squeaking by marginal opponents. Meanwhile Gordon goes for 251 yards and three touchdowns in a new years day game to get a win over a ranked, former national champion runner up Auburn team on the way to an 11 win season. How can you possibly make this statement
