Duke Johnson> Melvin Gordon??

As a realist i have to go Gordon. Duke gets hurt every single game. he has a ton of heart and is a fighter and i commend him for that but durablity is a huge issue for me. i remember his sophomore season i was like i wonder when duke is going to exit the game for an injury. as a NFL GM thats a huge concern. my concern with Gordon is that when the lights are on and the stage is bright. he disappears in a big way. Duke flourishes in those moment. but the NFL is Not For Long and i need to run like Gordon into the ground. if duke can somehow overcome his durabilty issues. he will be a versatile weapon.

If duke wasn't fumbling or on the sideline hurt when the game is on the line, we were getting beat in a night game with ease or squeaking by marginal opponents. Meanwhile Gordon goes for 251 yards and three touchdowns in a new years day game to get a win over a ranked, former national champion runner up Auburn team on the way to an 11 win season. How can you possibly make this statement

He has 7 fumbles in 3 years. Let's get a grip people. Is it the best. No, but it's not nearly as big of a deal as people are trying to make it.

Gordon not even close, duke is is too small to not have that speed and duke gets injured way to much

Here is a list of the top ten rushers in the country this year, except it is in order of career carries/fumble lost. Care to guess which one is duke johnson?

1- Never lost a fumbled in his career
2- 303
3- 211
4- 132
5- 113
6- 97
7- 90
8- 89
9- 80
10- 75

If you guessed number 10, then you are correct duke has the worst ball control in the top ten rushers in college football. You can say 7 lost fumbles isn't a lot, but duke also missed a lot of games, and doesn't carry the ball too much. He has serious fumble problems, and is injury prone. Those two things are facts.

Ball control is easily taught to RB's. He has struggled with it, but not to the point it will hurt his draft stock much.

The bigger concern for teams is his pass blocking, height, and durability.
Not sure if he still has migraine issues, but those had an affect on him last year, and I'm sure you guys know how they have affected Percy Harvin his first few years in the league.
