Duke clears concussion protocol, intends to play Sunday

She never came out publicly and bashed anybody UM that I can remember. She said that a lot of the players would transfer if there were no penalty to them for doing so.

Water is wet... and I love the fact that she didn't backtrack on what she said. Great family. Wish him all the best.

dude is incredibly under appreciated around here.. i still just don't get it.

Best RB i ever watched at Miami.

let me guess your 22...

he was a good back here..

but go watch Willis in the swamp put up 200 on the 6th team in the country...

Edge with 300 + on the 3rd ranked team, 39 carries never tapped out

Chuck Forman
Clinton Portis
Ottis Anderson

All great backs,,,,

Duke put up numbers for sure but never took a meaningful game over when he had the chance he fumbled or got hurt

which meaningful games did he play in as a starter. FSU is the only one that seamed meaningful and he played pretty well considering who was calling the plays.

Neb for one/ The Bowl game where he fumbled & injury late in the game and never returned/ Pitt game he fumbled early... only ran for 80 against UVA and Pitt..

could be play calling yes...

well i would count the nebraska game but he played respectivley well in all of those game you mentioned. not to mention i woudln't call UVA and Pitt big games considering we were already out of contention for the coastal. and that joke of bowl game was definitely not his fault just bc that one fumble.

This was a DUKE thread not a team thread. I have no argument with the teams effort and how bad they played at the end of the season, I was just pointing out to another poster that Duke although the all time record holder at the school will never be a top 3 or maybe 5 back all time.
Now if Duke would have played on those teams who knows he is in the NFL with NFL coaching/ blocking and trainers. I hope he does well

oh i agree. i definitely have edge, clinton, and willis ahead of him. even think gore could of been the best of all if not for the injuries. i'm interested to see if he can stay healthy and contribute at the next level. i think the talent is there but i'm not sure about the durability especially with the amount of concussions he's obtained to this point.

Edgerrin is my favorite player of all time, hence the user id. But Gore his freshmen year before his knee injuries was the best back here I've ever seen. I'm 30. I would go Gore(pre acl), Edge, Portis/Willis tied, and then Duke.

yes Gore pre acl was a ridiculous talent.

Willis was my favorite UM back, followed by Duke for obvious reasons. Cried when Willis got his knee blown out.

This is in my opinion. Please don't debate my opinion especially when numbers don't lie.
