He’s the best coach of the bunch from that manny crew. For perspective look at how dvd was hailed here and where he is versus where this man is today

Imagine hating someone that was a former walk-on who worked their way to being a 3 year starter and went to grow as a coach at the Incarnate Word, then followed a young up and coming coach to Texas State and now on to P5....

We were humiliated so many times under Manny, and he left the cupboard empty outside of a few Covid commits, both in terms of roster and recruiting. He was a LB specialist who didn't recruit even one memorable LB -- Steed, Wilder, Jennings, "we got our guy" Joyner, Huff, Brooks, Cave, Flagg, Troutman and T Johnson ... a who's who of irrelevant LBs.

Manny did a several good things. And I applaud his DC performance at Penn State. But he is absolutely not HC material. Mario, for all his many flaws, keeps stacking.

I don't understand the Manny hate. I'm happy he's no longer our coach, but also wish him the best and hope he does well. He's a guy that liked the Canes but also wasn't ready for the job. He wasn't stubborn and did his best to try to adapt & succeed. Good guy, not a good Canes coach. Now Golden, that's a different story...
