This game could be 29-24 right now. "Field goals aren't going to win this game" is a dumb mentality. The only thing that happens is you gradually put yourself into a desperate position. If Washington goes down and scores it could break the game open. Maybe then we'll see the old Bo rear his ugly head.

Fun game to watch
QBs and the offenses look good but also the defenses aren’t the turnstile no tackling bull**** you see sometimes
I’m a defensive guy at heart and as much as I love the modern offenses and the game I hate the garbage tackling

As a fan, one of the more maddening things I see in college football is a defensive coordinator who will call an aggressive blitz up front then have his DB's provide sooooooo much cushion that there is no way to prevent the quarterback from completing a pass. It makes no sense to me. These guys place a $1000 bet then place an $1100 hedge bet, all on the same play. WHY?!?!?

No doubt and it’s why the tackling becomes so important. You really have no choice but to give up yards these days
I know everybody is on the Miami sucks again tip this week but it’s probably my favorite improvement from last year for us. We’ve really been aggressive and tackling well without doing it recklessly (for the most part
)

Yeah listen I’m not saying I wouldn’t take Lincoln Riley…I’m just saying I would be turning the game off when we are on defense because my heart couldn’t take it
