Tears Duck Tears

Miami has 3 blue chip players committed. Ohio State and Clemson have 13 each. Yet only Miami gets the hate.

Guarantee the reason Clemson and OSU have better classes is because they paid more.
Agreed and I think Ray Ray would have had a better deal if he had gone to Clemson. The amount of times he cited his relationship with Mario in his commitment interview was astounding, even talking about how little Dabo seemed to care. Makes it seem like Dabo is purely handing out cash while Mario builds deep connections + some cash.

but these numbers get out into the mainstream media and it makes us look sketchy in my opinion. and there is another negative - the kids think we are a big bag school and all start demanding bags to sign here. these people don't want to admit Mario is doing this with his ability as a recruiter. Oregon should know.

Don’t you see, brother. That will ALWAYS be a part of being a Canes fan. We will never NOT be sketchy to everyone else. That’s part of the deal here. We kicked the door in when we weren’t welcome, rubbed everyone’s noses in it, and they couldn’t do **** about it.

No matter what we do—e.g. hire a guy with more integrity than most will ever dream of (Richt) or a genuine local product loved by everyone who’s ever come in contact with him (Cristobal), follow NIL rules to the letter, graduate players, help in the community, etc.—we’ll always be those guys nobody really wants at the table, let alone share their meal with us. They’ll always talk down to us and try to send us back where we came from, either explicitly or behind our backs. That goes for everyone from the NCAA down to your friendly SEC neighbor.

Gotta embrace it.

Ruiz is a cheat and a felon.
Cristobal is a liar.
Players are “thugs.”

Sure, whatever helps you sleep at night. But we’re here, and we’re gonna get ours. So **** you.
